Match Day 5 Result vs KCU Cosmos Away - 2-1 Rangers!!! ⚔️
Good game for the spectators - tight score line with a game that could have gone either way with various score outcomes. An organised KCU deservingly lead at half time by a single goal, however a 10 man Rangers side showed their class and determination pulling it back with a brace from their top goal scoring machine, Nathan Sparrow, to remain top of HK1

Tuesday, 5 May and the celebrations have only just started cooling down.
Rangers snatched the 3 points at Jim Cooke Park against a confident Otaki Puru on Saturday - a tough game with the Rangers behind by one goal at half time. They came back in the second half turning up the heat and scoring two goals to take the win, in what was a riveting football match.

Rangers will visit their newly formed ‘cousin team’ this weekend - Ohau FC - to continue their quest for reclaiming the Div 1 league crown. UTFR ⚔️❤️⚔️❤️⚔️❤️⚔️

On Saturday Waikanae Rangers hosted Manakau Hui Mai and enjoyed their first home game with a win on a beautiful day at Jim Cooke Park with plenty of sunshine, goals, and cards.

In respect to ANZAC Day both teams had a minute of silence before kick off.

The Rangers played well and with some silky midfield magic by Mason Aitken (MOTM), our new team was looking sharp and went into half time leading 4-1 .

Manakau fought back in the second half, a little too much and lost a few players due to red cards. Manakau's remaining players pushed hard and managed to even score one to limit the Rangers score to 6-2.

Not the way either teams wanted the match to end but that’s football .

We look forward to hosting Otaki Puru this Saturday so make sure you get down to support and enjoy some entertaining Div 1 footy.

The season kicked off with a thrilling 8-goal match at Campbell Park against Paekakariki. Despite the absence of new key players Ronni and Sam, and Tobias who had to miss the first half due to work commitments, Rangers showed resilience after Paekakariki scored first. An early injury to Ben Thomas added to Rangers' woes. However, the team regrouped and scored 4 unanswered goals before halftime, taking control of the game 1-4. Paekakariki's strong second-half performance, aided by their deep bench, saw them score 3 goals, exploiting Rangers' limited substitutes, with Zahk Jones being the lone substitute to steady the team. Rangers remains optimistic for the remainder of the season and are still searching for two more players to join the squad.
