A little challenge of my weekend. This scrumptious wee guy makes up for his size by his whopper of a mane. I try not to make a habit of attacking this kind of thing in one go, but with a little thinning along the way (and an upgraded needle) we got some half decent plaits in in record time 🙌 Yes it’s even thicker than it looks 😂

It’s been a plaiting kind of weekend. After being sick all week I was worried it would be a struggle but we got through it on some lovely horses 🥰 Thanks for your support, I hope you had a lovely show.

This lovely mare’s owner had prepped her mane beautifully. A well prepped mane makes all the difference. This can be done directly prior to plaiting, but where possible is definitely better to be done in advance for tidier results.

Quick tail plait, to freshen up for the season, while this lovely wee mare ate her dinner. No product, no bands or thread, muddy and fluffy paddock styles but a super cute bum all the same 🥰
