A huge credit to our officials too, who are helping maintain a high standard of safe, non-contact play while giving these players the confidence to compete and develop.

Te Awamutu Sports Lacrosse is looking for coaches for our upcoming summer programmes!

We have opportunities across our Men’s & Women’s teams.

We’re looking for people who want to help players develop, compete and enjoy their lacrosse, whether you’re an experienced coach or keen to take the next step.

You don’t necessarily need a long coaching CV — sporting experience and a willingness to learn all count.

Our Code Annual General Meeting is coming up!

The AGM will include:

Review of previous AGM minutes
Review of financial reports
Appointment of new committee members
Planning for the year ahead

Nominations for committee positions are now open.
Nominations must be signed by two financial members and signed by the member being nominated.

Quorum: We need a minimum of 10 financial members present for the AGM to proceed.

👉 Please confirm your attendance so we can make sure we have enough members for quorum.

Round 2 is here, and the teams are ready to hit the court!

After a closely contested opening round, we're looking forward to another night of fast-paced, non-contact lacrosse, with plenty of opportunities for players to develop their skills, move the ball and compete together.

The atmosphere was electric, with athletes giving it their all and supporters creating an incredible buzz from the sidelines. The energy, sportsmanship, and teamwork on display made for a fantastic opening night!

🥍 Putāruru 24 – 21 Thunder Girls

A huge shoutout to the Lightning Girls and Monsters for an exciting draw, while the Thunder Girls pushed Putāruru all the way in a thrilling contest that wasn't decided until the final whistle.

Congratulations to all our players, coaches, officials, and supporters for making tonight such a success. We can't wait to do it all again next week!

We have a wonderful community of sport providers, Thankyou Ollie and Te Awamutu Sports for organzing such an inclusive activity day for local students of all abilities.

Tonight marks the start of our Lightning Lacrosse League!

Whether you're new to lacrosse or already love the game, it's a fun, fast-paced way to learn new skills, play with friends, and enjoy some exciting competition.

Volunteers, please arrive at 4:30 for set up and a short briefing.

Our Term 3 league is also a great steppingstone for players interested in representing their school at the Waikato Intermediate Schools Competition in Term 4.
