A Step Ahead Academy

If you have a child who doesn’t attend one of our registered ECE’s, this one is for you!

This Saturday we will be getting active at Te Puna school, raising money for Te Puna kindergarten at their annual trike-a-thon!

We will be showcasing our fun gear with an obstacle course which kids can partake in for a gold coin donation.

KICKING ⚽️ 🥅

When starting out, ball control can be broken down into a few basic skills. With our little ones we start with games such as:

- squeezing the ball between the knees
- toe touches on the ball
- tapping the ball with our penguin (side) feet or ballerina (toe) feet

Easy to do at home, all you need is a squishy ball and an enthusiastic child!

We’ve had a busy first week, meeting so many awesome kids, teachers and parents. After running three days of 20 minute taster classes with 150 kids across years 0-4, we are very excited to announce that we will be starting up at our local Ōmokoroa Point School this term!
