He tino hōnore, he tino whakahirahira hoki ki a mātou te pānui atu i ngā tamariki kua tohua hei māngai mō tō tātou rohe, a Tauranga Moana, ki te whakataetae ā-tau o Tamariki Māori Rugby League.

Ngā mihi nui ki ngā tamariki katoa kua kōwhiria. Kua kitea tō koutou whakapau kaha, tō koutou ngākau nui, me tō koutou ū ki te kaupapa. Kawea te mana o Tauranga Moana me te whakahīhī.

He mihi whakahirahira hoki ki ngā mātua me ngā kaitūao kua tū hei kaiako, hei kaiwhakahaere, hei kaitautoko, me ngā mahi katoa kei muri i te kaupapa. Nā tō koutou aroha me tō koutou whakapau kaha ka taea tēnei haerenga.

It is with great pride and honour that we announce the outstanding tamariki selected to represent our rohe, Tauranga Moana, at the annual Tamariki Māori Rugby League Tournament.

Congratulations to every player selected. Your hard work, commitment, and passion have earned you this opportunity. Wear the Tauranga Moana jersey with pride and represent our people with mana.

We would like to give a massive Mihi out to all players and whanau who showed up to the musters and attended the trial days you definitely didn’t make it an easy choice. Fortunate for us there was a lot of interest but unfortunately we couldn’t take everyone. Big ups to those who didn’t make it this year keep pushing and strive for the next one to come.

We want to Congratulate all players who have been selected to represent Tauranga Moana u12’s and your whanau at the Tamariki tournament in September.

9:30am – 12:30pm

Whānau, we’re nearly there! Our trials kick off this Sunday and the eno is building. Due to an overwhelming number of registrations, registrations will now close tomorrow at 6pm!

When you arrive, head straight to the registration table between Field 1 & 2 to sign in.

Please make sure your athlete comes prepared with a pōtae, mouth guard, drink bottle, and snacks to keep them fuelled.

Nau mai, haere mai! Calling all tamariki keen to represent Tauranga Moana at the ANZMRL Tamariki Tournament!

All players MUST be registered through the registration link prior to attending trials. Players who are not registered will not be eligible to trial.

Upon arrival, please check in with the ladies at the table.

To be eligible for selection, players must be born in the following years:

🔹 U10s
• Born in 2016 or 2017

🔹 U11s
• Born in 2015 or 2016

🔹 U12s
• Born in 2014 or 2015
