🏆 TOYOTA TROPHY SERIES – SEASON DONE! 🏆

What a season it has been! I’m absolutely stoked to finish the Toyota Series as the Overall Toyota Champion! 🏆

To come away as the overall champion after being right at the front and one of the fastest drivers throughout the majority of the season is something I’m extremely proud of.

I also finished 2nd in the Rookie Trophy Series. With the way the points worked out, it was definitely gutting to miss out on that championship, but I can still look back on the season and be proud of what we achieved.

We finished off the final weekend with a P5, a RACE WIN 🥇 and a P6, which was a great way to round out an awesome season.

A massive thank you to Sam Mackenzie and all the boys at Mackenzie Motorsport for everything they’ve done throughout the season. The amount of work that goes on behind the scenes to prepare and look after all the cars is huge, and I really appreciate all the effort you guys have put in to give me the best possible car every round.

A massive thank you to Pop Scolesand Joanne Scolesfor making all of this possible and giving me the opportunity to compete in this championship. I genuinely couldn’t have done it without you both.

A big thanks as well to Dad and Mike for taking me all over the country, getting me to every round and supporting me the whole way.

And of course, a massive thank you to all of my sponsors. None of this would be possible without your support and belief in me. I’m incredibly grateful to have you all behind me.

Also, a big congratulations to Myles and Nathan Grammer Racing on having great seasons as well. It’s been awesome racing alongside you guys all year and pushing each other throughout the championship.

It’s been a season full of learning, close racing, wins, ups and downs, and some unforgettable moments. To finish it as the Overall Toyota Champion makes all the hard work worth it.

I can’t wait to see what we can achieve next. 🏆🏁

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey. This is only the beginning! ❤️🏁

Invercargill’s Nieko Scoles took his third – and most important – victory in the 2026 Toyota 86 Trophy Series at Manfeild - Circuit Chris Amon this morning – and set up a dramatic showdown for the final race of the season later today.

A great start by Scoles saw him take second at the start behind leader Riley Boswell, and he pressured Boswell’s yellow car throughout the race until the sixth lap when he found a way past. Nieko reckoned it was his best win so far in the series.

“It probably was the best win,” he said. “I got a mean launch, made a great start and got great traction away from the line which got me up to second.

“Full respect to Riley, he had plenty of pace in that race but I was able to get by. I think that puts me in a strong position for the final race and I’ll be aiming to do exactly the same in that one and go out and win.”
