After 13 years with WaiBOP Football, Catherine Clark is moving on from her role as Competitions Manager. We thank Catherine for her outstanding contribution over the past 13 years and wish her every success for the future.

Our ideal candidate would be someone with 3+ years managing sporting competitions (creating & managing draws), experience using Sporty, a proactive outlook and a calm head under pressure.

Here at Waiariki FC, we’re proud to celebrate an incredible mother and daughter duo who stood shoulder to shoulder, representing the Aldworth whānau with pride, passion, and determination on Sunday.

Watching Mum and Daughter pull on the Waiariki colours together was more than just football—it was a beautiful reminder that the love of the game can unite generations. Their commitment, teamwork, and support for one another were inspiring to everyone on and off the field.

Moments like these are what make our club so special. Football isn’t just about the goals or the final score; it’s about family, creating lifelong memories, and sharing experiences that will be treasured forever.

To the Aldworth mother and daughter team—thank you for showing our club what true whānau spirit looks like. You both represented Waiariki FC with heart, courage, and pride, and we couldn’t be prouder.

To our incredible volunteers, players, coaches, managers, whānau, and supporters – your time, energy, and willingness to help made the day run so smoothly. From setting up early, cooking and serving at the food tent, helping around the grounds, packing down at the end of the day, and cheering on our teams, every contribution made a real difference.

A special thank you to everyone who purchased food, supported our fundraising efforts, and helped create such a positive atmosphere around the club. Your support continues to strengthen our Waiariki FC whānau and allows us to keep providing opportunities for all of our players.

It’s Duty Day next Saturday, and our amazing Waiariki FC junior footballers will be stepping up both on and off the field! Come along to Puarenga Park from 8:30am and enjoy a fantastic morning of football, community, and great food.
