We have been pretty quiet since Taipa, just doing life and working away on the car.
But its time to start getting excited.
Repairs and Modifications have been made to the chassis and is now ready to go to the sandblaster next week, And the engine is currently being worked on.
We need to get a move on as one of us will out of action from mid September 🙄.
So our deadline has got a bit tighter.

With the off season repairs and upgrades well underway, one upgrade being a new engine.

For our last meeting of the season we ventured up to Taipa Stock and saloon car club for their Kings Birthday meeting.
This year we headed up with 3 drivers planned to ve driving.
Kyle in the Adults, Tyson in the Kings and for his first ever meeting Mason in the Prince / Princess.
I have always wanted to have all 3 boys racing at the same meeting, didnt think it would be in the ministock😂, but we will take what we can get.
The weather beat us on Sunday, so for the Adults they only got 4 races in, Kyle drove well and narrowly got beaten for the win in race 3 on the last corner, with Tony Coxhead passing him for the win.
Tyson got 5 races in and again drove well with no damage.
Mason also got 5 races in, the first race didnt go to plan with an issue with the starter motor.
But he then went on to finish the other 4 races building in confidence each race.
I have never felt as proud as i did this weekend, we never got the flag, but this weekend wasnt about flags or results is was about having fun with a lot of laughs.
And we had lots of that, and to see all the people come and support and encourage Mason into his Speedway journey showed me how great the Speedway family is.
Want to thank Fredo Morgan and the other members for arranging the event.
Taipa Stock & Saloon Car Club (Inc) for allowing us to race on your amazing track.
And to all the sponsors who supported the event.
And ladtly to all the other families for the amazing atmosphere.
We have booked the motel already for next year.

Hi all,
Im on the hunt for a Ford Fiesta body for the ministock.
We originally built our cage to suit what we believed was a Ford Focus body, but it turns out it wasn't.
The main issue is the A-pillar, its much more upright, so the Focus body doesn't fit properly.
If anyone knows of one available, or can point me in the direction of a supplier it would be much appreciated.

Unfortunately, we’ve had to withdraw Tyson from this weekend’s Advanced Automotive 1200cc Champs.
Tyson has been unwell and isn’t feeling up to competing.
We wish all the other competitors the very best of luck for the weekend.
With just one more meeting planned in a few weeks’ time up at Taipa, our season is almost at an end.
