Art and About Picture Framing

This multi medium piece was yet again challenging, it is glued to a frame to sit it floating in the tray frame. Being thick, very ragged and out of square and multi layered it was far from easy

A unique mutimedium piece. The delightful customer texted saying " my art needs you" this was the easiest of the two pieces and was created for Black Lives Matter awareness

What bliss a short walk to my framing studio crunching through autumn leaves, no traffic except a slow steady flow of new and loyal customers, we are so blessed

This belt was oversized in length, two stacked frames and a third support frame. Ultraview glass and hours of painstaking stitching! A gift for the customer's son in law, so a positive mother in law story.

We were given the job of repairing this interesting frame as the lady loved it so much, band clamp and patience and job done

What an honour to frame this beautiful piupiu after much experimenting I finally secured the ties as they fell which worked well. Customer was literally in tears when she Cam to collect it, those are the moments that make all the hard work worthwhile.

Queen of broken hearts, hand painted canvas. Tray frame a challenge as the canvas was out of square but we got it looking pretty good.

Yet another challenge but well worth the effort. The stacked frame which needed a third support frame behind made this time consuming, but all worthwhile when you see the finished job.

This tapa tapa was deeply created from a long time folded and LARGE. distilled water a steam and weeks of flattening and it came up great. The Oslo looks perfect with it and acrylic glazing. Needed support not to spring out, good old pocket screw jig and back straps and ready to go
