MDA Club Champ singles are on this Sunday the 6th September. Names in by 12.30 with a 1pm start 🙏

MDA CLUB CHAMPS day. First up was Husband and Wives it would be neat if we could try get a few more to play next year team 🥰. Congratulations to the winners and runners up great darts. Then we had the mixed pairs. We had a great turnout of 10 teams which is awesome 😍. There were some pretty amazing Pairings and such great darts thrown all day. Thankyou to the bar staff who kept it afloat as well as playing 😃. Congratulations to everyone who participated it came right down to the wire today which was pretty cool. Well done to the winners, and runners up that playoff could of been anyone's game. We had quite a few 180s hit today so a special mention to Charlotte for getting her first registered 180 woohoo way to go 😄.
Results of today will be in the prizegiving post at the end of the season.

Names in for Husband and wives before 12 noon with games commencing at 12 and names in for Mixed pairs before 12.30 with a 1pm start.

MDA Team 3s photos over the last 2 weeks. With a huge 24 teams the 1st week, and 19 teams the 2nd week. Not a bad turn out. Thankyou for persevering with me i am still learning all the ins and outs. We do have a winner and runner up but im going to keep you in suspense until prize giving 🥰

M.D.A hosted H.D.A today at the hall what an amazing day. I managed to capture alot of great moments ❤️. Our Men's A team took the win 14-10, our Men's B team unfortunately couldnt quite get over the line with a score of 9-15. Our ladies team was a spectacular highlight for me they played outstanding 👏 and took a 24-0 win 🏆.
The overall winner today was yup you guessed it MDA with a 47-25. Congratulations team you guys played awesome 👌

MDA played the 2nd half of 1001s tonight 🥰. It ran pretty smoothly and the atmosphere was amazing tonight. I took some photos but I didnt get a chance to get photos of each team. I might try get those at prize giving. Erica-Leigh Deuart you did an incredible job calling all the games and boards in between playing, brilliant effort. Teams were happy and you could hear the team spirit. Well done everyone roll on next week 👏

Today MDA traveled to Whanganui for the Tri quad. We had to play Horowhenua and Whanganui today and our ladies managed to take the win. What a team 😍 the atmosphere was so pleasant and everyone geled so well too.
Mens B came runner up in their division and had alot of great darts thrown.
Mens A took out the win today too 🙌, annnnnnnd the MDA won the overall trophy for the day. Way to go team 👏 keep up this great form 🥰.

Over the weekend we headed down to Hutt Valley for the Mens Singles, Ladies Singles, Youth Singles, and Men's and Ladies Pairs.
We had quite alot of players from MDA representing and 3 kids from the Manawatu Mātātahi Darts Academy attending.
We walked away with some very good results.
Saturday Amelia made it to the last 16 in the Ladies Main round playing some beautiful darts along the way.
Caleb H, and Cody made the last 32 in the mens Main round as their magic darts came up against strong opponents.
Kalani made the 32 in the consolation and Richie picked up his game and took the Win 🏆.
Now onto our Youth Singles which had most of my attention.
Brooke played her first ever tournament and she did so extremely well she got a win in her section and did us all very proud.
Kingston played incredible in section play but doubles just weren't behaving. He went into the consolation and powered all the way to the Win 🏆 so proud of how you did buddy.
Tatai went into the day with a clear head and fired on all cylinders. Going into the main round calm and composed and the darts just flew magically. Where he took his 2nd WDF Win 🏆.
Sunday brought the Mens and ladies Pairs.
Amelia paired with Mishelle Close and they played amazing in section play winning some very hard games to get through to the main round. What a pairing these 2 are was amazing to hear how they compliment each other. Once they were put out Amelia and Erica stayed behind to watch Tatai and Richie our only MDA mens pairs to play. The support meant so much and the guys didnt disappoint. Qualifying into the main round was a step up from last year and they took that as a win. But it didnt stop there. Winning their first game beautifully, then started Taking out big names like Johnny Parker and Rage Albright, 2 power scoring Gisborne boys, Darren Herewini and Laitin Ward, and moved into the final against Jaymie Hilton Jones and Mark Cleaver these names didnt scare them. They went in all guns blazing and were just unlucky coming runner up 5-3. What an incredible weekend MDA and the Academy had everyone played outstanding 👏. Roll on this weekend for the Tri Quad 😍
