LITTLE DRAGONS BELT CEREMONY

What a special night celebrating some of our littlest karateka! ❤️

Tonight we held our Little Dragons Belt Ceremony, recognising the progress of Emmie, Charlie, George and Tanner.

🌟 Emmie – White Belt Brown Stripe
Emmie has come ahead in leaps and bounds and tonight progressed TWO belts, moving from Purple Stripe straight to Brown Stripe – the final belt in our Little Dragons system! Her focus, determination and karate have grown so much. She knows her first three katas along with her Orange and Black Stripe Belt ido, and we are incredibly proud of her. Her next challenge will be joining our senior students for our end-of-year grading! 🥋

🌟 Charlie – White Belt Green Stripe
Watching Charlie grow and develop over the past year has been wonderful. His confidence, knowledge and focus continue to grow, and he is getting closer and closer to completing his Little Dragons journey. 💚

🌟 George – White Belt Purple Stripe
George has been working so hard on his focus, listening and self-control. We have watched him make so many little steps forward, and those little steps have added up to some fantastic progress. 💜

🌟 Tanner
We are so proud of the progress Tanner is making too. He has been working hard on maintaining his focus and concentration even when there are distractions around him, and it has been lovely watching his confidence continue to grow. ❤️

One of the things we love most about our Little Dragons programme is that it isn't just about learning karate.

It's about learning to listen, focus, persevere, build confidence and keep trying – even when something is difficult.

Every child develops differently, and every little step forward deserves to be celebrated.

We are SO proud of our Little Dragons tonight. 🐉🥋❤️

🥋 Karateka of the Month – Callum & AJ 🥋

Over the past month, our focus has been heavily on grading material — refining our basics, sharpening kata, building fitness and pushing ourselves just that little bit harder.

Two karateka who really stood out during this time were **Callum and AJ**. 🌟

Both have shown fantastic effort, focus and determination in their training. They listened, worked hard on corrections and continued to push themselves each session. It’s not always about being the best in the room — it’s about showing up, giving your best and continuing to improve.

We are very proud to recognise **Callum and AJ as our Karateka of the Month!** 🏆🥋

Well deserved, you two! 💚

🥋 BELTING CEREMONY 🥋

And finally… the moment they had all worked so hard for! 💚

Look at those shiny new belts and those very happy faces! 😍🥋

Every belt represents the hard work, determination and spirit shown along the way.

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you. 💚

Wear those belts with pride — you earned them! 👊

🔥 SPIRIT TEST 🔥

It started with smiling faces 😁 — they knew grading was nearly over!

Those smiles soon disappeared when Senpai Ange kept them going… and going… for 10 LONG minutes! 😂🔥 I’m pretty sure I wasn’t their favourite person by the end!

It was long. It was gruelling. But NO ONE stopped. Every single karateka finished. 👊💪

Now THAT is Kyokushin spirit! 🥋🔥

🥊 KUMITE 🥊

Everyone loves Kumite! 🔥

This is where the spirit really comes alive — strong combinations, great movement, control and plenty of fighting spirit. 👊

Our karateka pushed hard, supported each other and kept going right to the end.

Strong fights. Big hearts. 💚🔥

🥋 KIHON 🥋

Next up was Kihon — and everyone showed beautiful, clean technique. 👊

We’ve spent a lot of time refining our basics, because strong basics are the foundation of good karate.

Technique. Control. Focus. 💚

Build the foundation strong, and everything else follows. 🥋
