Congratulations to our Katikati FC First XI Girls, who have finished 4th in Division 1! 👏👏

The girls have had a fantastic season. With a relatively young squad this year, the growth, maturity and determination they have shown throughout the season has been brilliant to watch.

Finishing 4th in Division 1 is a fantastic achievement and a great reflection of the hard work this group has put in. There is plenty of exciting football ahead for this squad! Especially as they head off to Winter Tournament next week. 💪⚽️

Special thanks to every player, coach Adam, manager Lucy and all the wonderful supporters at every game!

A big congratulations also goes to our Second XI Boys on what has been a very much development-focused season.

2026 is the first year in a very long time that Katikati Football Club has entered a Second XI Boys team into the league, and this was a very young squad with players of very differing abilities.

While the results may not have always gone their way, with just two wins this season, the purpose of this team was always much bigger than the results. It was about giving our younger players the opportunity to play in a higher league, experience more competitive football and develop their skills ahead of many of them moving into our U19 Boys team next season.

There has been plenty of learning, growth and development along the way, and that will be invaluable for these players in the years ahead. 👏

Thank you to the players, coach Johnny assisted by Avi and captains Blake and Xavier, manager Vicky, and the supporters.

Congratulations also to Ethan, Blake, Xavier, Rainal, Daniel and Shiv who will join the U19 boys at Winter Tournament next week.

To both teams, well done on your seasons! We are incredibly proud of the effort, commitment and progress shown by all of our players.

The girls finished 2nd in their Division with an outstanding record of 7 wins, 2 draws and just 1 loss, finishing the season on 23 points, only 2 points behind the league winners.

What a season it has been! The girls have continued to develop, support each other and represent Katikati Football Club with so much pride.

A massive congratulations to every player, coach Julian, manager Rachel, and every parent and supporter who has been part of this journey. 💛

You should all be incredibly proud of what you have achieved. 2nd in the league is an amazing result, and what a platform to build from!🥈⚽️

A HUGE congratulations to our Katikati FC U19 Boys who have finished their season as Division 1 Champions! 🏆⚽️

What a season it has been! The boys finished on an incredible 22 points — a massive 7 points clear of the runners-up.

Katikati Football Club is looking to put together an U15 Girls team to enter the Lakes Football Club Invitational Tournament in Rotorua on Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th September

If your daughter is U15 and interested in being part of the team please get in touch with us!

There will be a small cost per player to help cover the tournament entry fee and travel expenses.

Rotorua has long been one of New Zealand’s favourite destinations for families, and now it’s time to add another reason to visit.

We’re excited to launch the inaugural Lakes Football Club Invitational Tournament, bringing clubs from across New Zealand together for two days of quality football in the heart of Rotorua.

Whether you’re looking for the perfect competitive hit-out before the Weir Rose Tournament, the McCartney Tournament, or simply want to finish your season by testing your players against quality opposition from around the country, this tournament is for you.

More importantly, this tournament represents the next step for football in Rotorua.

For several years we’ve had clubs asking when Rotorua would host a major junior tournament. We’re proud to say we’re finally in a position to make it happen.

Our vision is simple:
