Otakaro FC are entering two teams into the prestigious Western Springs U17 Tournament - U17 Boys and U17 Girls.

The Tournament is one of the most anticipated tournaments on the youth calendar and attracts team from across the nation, as well as NZF national age group coaches.

Where: Seddon Fields, Western Springs, Auckland
When: Thurs 10th to Sun 13th December
We shall send two competitive teams made up from the age-eligible players in the current Otakaro FC teams and across the six member clubs of Otakaro FC.

We want to see Otakaro FC and the east side of Christchurch perform and compete on the national stage alongside the very best in the country.

Flights, accomodation and logistics are already booked. The cost is approx $1850 and we shall assist the travelling teams with fundraising opportunities to reduce costs.

The cost includes flights, accommodation, tournament entry fee, mini bus hire, meals for breakfast, dinner and evening meal, tent hire and expenses.

Players shall be well supported with a Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Manager.

We are seeking players interest for a great event and in the first instance would like you to complete your details below.

Once we have received confirmation of interested parties, we shall outline a programme of selection and training with direct communication to you.

FYI The competition rules state that guest players are allowed, however, priority will be provided to players from the six member clubs of Otakaro FC

What a weekend of Football we just had!!

14th Grade Black and 15th Grade Black are into the finals of their Divisions Cups.

Masters Beavers won their Final against Halswell United.

Masters Shakers won their Plate Final against Cashmere Technical.

With all Senior and Masters Football finished, we look to this Saturday for our Youth Cup finals, 3rd/4th Place games and 5th Place Playoffs!

THIS WEEKEND: Huge Moment for Football in Christchurch with the Chatham Cup and Kate Sheppard Cup being played at our very own One NZ Stadium!

Entry is free with kick off at 12:30pm on Saturday for the women and 4pm for the men.
Get along and enjoy the first football game played at the stadium.

Football is coming to One New Zealand Stadium at Te Kaha for the very first time on Saturday 5 September, with the Delivereasy Kate Sheppard Cup and Chatham Cup Finals.

Both Cashmere Technical teams are representing Canterbury against Auckland opposition, and we’d love to see the local football community pack the new stadium and be part of this historic day.

1:00pm – Kate Sheppard Cup Final
Cashmere Technical vs Eastern Suburbs

4:00pm – Chatham Cup Final
Cashmere Technical vs Fencibles United

They take on 2nd Place Ferrymead Bays Keen Lads.
Our lads are looking to secure 4th place out of 10 teams!

Exciting weekend ahead for our Youth Teams with all of them playing for positions from 1st to 6th in their Division Cups.

Our Juniors have another weekend in their round robin divisions.
