We are currently waiting on parts for the engine rebuild. Luckily we have some time before the new season starts.

Ihra nationals at Meremere Dragway ended before it started for me. Black Fury siezed during warm-up Saturday morning.

Despite this I had a great weekend.

Darren Roberts girls painted my car on me, I got to witness multiple 5 second passes. I got to play with and support my friends with their racing.

Fourth attempt to get to Tokoroa this season, and the weather gods finally played their part!

A big thank you to Karen Newth for putting up with us (I mean, putting us up 😄).

Huge thanks as well to the Tokoroa Street Rodders Inc Amisfield Dragstrip for putting on an awesome event featuring Outlaw 71 and the NZ Vintage Gassers. It was a great day with a relaxed atmosphere, topped off with a nice BBQ at prizegiving. Also Thank-you Amanda Burton and Cindy Mendoza for the Pony ride after racing.

I made some massive progress with my driving, and Black Fury (my car) was really cooperating. Managed to run three personal bests back-to-back — 10.0, 9.93, and finishing with a 9.88, along with a PB MPH of 64.54.
