A huge shout‑out to The Trusts for backing this year’s Henderson Shuffle with a generous $500 Supporters Club donation toward our medals. Your support helps us celebrate every shuffler who shows up, loops around, and brings the spirit of West Auckland to life.
Events like the Henderson Shuffle strengthen our community in all the best ways — getting people moving, connecting families, and creating a space where everyone belongs. We’re proud to partner with organisations who believe in that impact.
This year we’re excited to introduce our brand‑new Chill Out Zone, complete with bean bags and games so participants can relax between loops and enjoy the day in comfort.
And don’t miss the action in the First Responders Challenge, where Auckland City - Fire and Emergency NZ, New Zealand Police, and Hato Hone St John battle it out to see who can clock the biggest combined distance over 12 hours. One team will walk away with the title of Toughest First Responder — bragging rights included.
Thank you again to The Trusts for helping make this year’s Shuffle bigger, brighter, and even more community‑powered. West Auckland, we can’t wait to see you out there.

It was icy yesterday morning!
We had 1 lot of frozen fingers, 2 Di2 gears gone flat, 1 chain malfunction, 2 jumping on the ferry, 11 cyclists and a million laughs.
Next week we head to Takapuna and Devonport to check out the view at the top
of North Head. I think Coach likes the hills a bit TOO much! 😂

It looks like we have a VERY large group riding tomorrow!
The map below is guide with another group starting earlier and doing the full loop.
Please see the route below. This is a no drop ride with a couple of groups. Slower riders will do a shorter distance.

The Henderson Shuffle. Have you registered yet… or are you planning to live dangerously?
Last year we sold out so hard we had a queue of people hovering like seagulls waiting for someone to drop a chip (or a registration). So, this year we doubled the numbers — clever, right?
Except… it’s filling up fast!
If you haven’t registered, stop reading this and go do it. Your future self will thank you.

Twisted Sisters End of Season Awards Dinner
What a fantastic night!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our End of Season Awards Dinner last night. It was wonderful to come together to celebrate another incredible season, share amazing food, plenty of laughs, and recognise the achievements and contributions of our members.
Looking around the room, it was impossible not to reflect on how far our club has come. The saying "If you build it, they will come" perfectly captures the journey of Twisted Sisters.
What started as a vision to create a supportive, encouraging, and inclusive community of women has grown into something truly special. Our continued growth is a testament to each and every member who brings their enthusiasm, encouragement, and sense of camaraderie to the Tri club.
