Goodness me, I love my patchy pony 🥰
This was his third jump session with me, and it’s a big ask throwing a baby into the deep end with so much going on, limited jump schooling (due to his baby age of course!) but he settled like an old soul and took it all in his stride, and he’s great to fall off of 😂 Just stands there awaiting you to pick yourself back up and hop on.
Our goal this season is to get him out to the Young Horse Show Jumping at the end of the season once he’s got more experience under his belt (and me learning how to sit his darn jump!), and dabble in some intro classes, and maybe a bout of showing once he’s fit enough ♥️
Having such a willing, easy baby to take out has made the gelding decision a little bitter sweet, but it does allow us to go out and have fun a lot more without the imposed restrictions, and back to PC Grounds for some exposure sessions and ribbon days 🕺🏼

My boys ♥️ Who would have thought 2.5 years after taking that second picture I’d have a near duplicate in a different colour in my paddock 😂
KC has been growing like a w**d, now 6 months old 🦄
Things have been ticking quietly over the last couple of months wild we embrace the winter vibes. Unfortunately at the start of June I lost Listo, Check’s first bub, to a paddock accident. Its taken a long time to get through it and I still feel like a part of me is missing, but his legacy lives on in KC, his brother ♥️ I will most likely breed again, but for now my focus is to my boys.
We’ve also purchased a beautiful property in the South that we will be relocating to at some point in the next year or two, so that’s extra exciting. I can’t wait 🙏🏼
Season starts next month, so best we start pulling our socks up and getting to work. Unsure if our adventures will take us back into the showing buzz, but we are most certainly focusing on the Young Horse Nationals in March, so stayed tuned to see how that progresses… 🫣
