A month in LA 🇺🇸
Just wrapped up an incredible 3-week training block on the Olympic waters alongside some of the best girls in the world. 🌍
The last 365 days haven’t been easy.
I’ve been working hard to improve, but for a long time the results just weren’t showing it. It definitely made me question myself a lot. Am I still good enough? Am I still the right person for this? Especially knowing only one of us gets to wear the silver fern at 2028 Olympics.
But if this sport has taught me anything, it’s that progress isn’t always reflected in the results straight away. Sometimes you just have to keep showing up, trust the process, and believe that all the work you’re doing will eventually pay off.
Over these past three weeks, something has started to click. I’ve felt some of those performance gaps close, my confidence has grown, and for the first time in a while I feel like I’m building real momentum.
A pretty special way to finish the block too with a🥈 at the North American Championships in a light-wind, physically demanding regatta.
