HOW DOES STORYTELLING RELATE TO LOVE COACHING?
The Untold Love Stories That Change Our Lives

Every one of us is living a Love Story.
Some chapters are beautiful.
Some are messy.
Some we proudly tell at dinner parties.
And some we have never told anyone.
Yet our untold love stories often carry some of our greatest wisdom.
A first Love.
A marriage that lasted decades.
A heartbreak we never expected.
A betrayal that changed everything.
A relationship we stayed in too long.
A Love we lost.
A Love we found again.
These experiences become part of the story we tell ourselves about who we are, what love means and what we believe is possible.
And this is where storytelling becomes so powerful in Love Coaching.
A Love Coach doesn’t simply listen to the story
A Love Coach listens for what is inside the story.
The beliefs.
The patterns.
The strengths.
The choices.
The unfinished chapters.
And, perhaps most importantly, the possibility of a different next chapter.
Because a story is not necessarily a sentence.
It can become a source of wisdom.
FROM STORY TO WISDOM
I have lived enough chapters of my own love story to know this intimately.
My separation on 1 August 2017 was, at the time, a profound ending.
But it also became the beginning of another story.
A story about rebuilding.
About discovering who I was beyond a relationship.
About transforming experience into wisdom.
And eventually, about recognising that what I had learned could become useful to other people.
That is one of the reasons I believe so deeply in Love Coaching.
We don’t need perfect love stories to become wise about Love.
We need the courage to look at our stories consciously.
A painful love story can become a wisdom story.
A beautiful love story can become a resource story.
And a complicated love story can become a teaching story.
THIS IS THE WORK OF A LOVE COACH
Not telling people what their story should be.
Not rescuing them from their past.
Not judging their choices.
But creating a safe and powerful space where they can discover:
What did I learn?
What do I want to change?
What do I want to carry forward?
And who am I becoming now?
This is where personal experience meets professional coaching.
Because your story alone doesn’t make you a Love Coach.
What you consciously learn from your story—and how you transform that learning into service—can become part of your wisdom as a coach.
Perhaps your story has a chapter you once wished you could erase.
Perhaps it is exactly that chapter that will one day help someone else feel less alone.
And perhaps the world needs more people who are willing to turn their lived experience into conscious contribution.
