ROUND 5 OF THE PRO4 IRL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IS LIVE 🏁

🏁 THE CHAMPIONSHIP FIGHT REACHES BOILING POINT
Round 5 of the Pro4 IRL National Championship is here!
Weeks of racing have led to this moment. Four rounds down, just two remain. Every lap. Every pass. Every point matters!
- Hamish Kelsey has one hand on the championship trophy, but the title is far from secured. A single mistake could bring the chasing pack right back into contention and completely change the championship picture.
- The battle for 2nd and 3rd couldn’t be any closer, with Noah Hutchison and Justin Davies separated by just ONE point. Every position on track could decide who finishes the season ahead.
- Behind them, Jack Hawkeswood and Lance Matthews are also locked in a fierce fight, also sitting just ONE point apart and still well within reach of a championship podium finish!
- OR can one of our other drivers (Simon Honey, Rob Woodworth, Aiden Hall) who are all only a handful of points behind close the gap and crack the championship fight wide open?
There are no easy points left. No room for mistakes. Every driver knows what’s at stake as the pressure reaches its highest point of the season.
💵 Cash up for grabs.
💥 Championship points on the line.
🔥 Rivalries set to explode.
🏆 The road to the title continues.
Who will rise under the pressure?
Who will crack?
And who will leave Round 5 with a shot at the championship trophy?

After a week break, we returned last night to Wild West for round 4 of the Pro4 championship! If you missed the livestream… you missed out 🔥
There were plenty of shake ups throughout the night, with a couple part time drivers entering into the mix to spice things up also!
Hamish went on to extend his championship lead with 3 consistent podium finishes, right in the mix with Ethan and Hadley. Noah found himself BEACHED on a concrete barrier in the feature race, closing the gap to only ONE point between him and Justin with Noah still holding onto 2nd place overall in the points.
Battles were had the whole way through the field, with the trucks of Simon and Lance seemingly glued together the whole night, as well as recent NZRC podium finisher Jack Hawkeswood pulling together a solid performance to bring home a nice points haul.
The final feature race of the night had a drag race to the finish, with only 0.1 seconds separating the top three trucks of Ethan, Hadley and Hamish to round out the top 3.
We return to Bark River next week Wednesday, where the battle will continue for ultimate championship honours🫡

Good luck and safe travels to 2 of our championship drivers Noah Hutchison and Scott Mitchell who are heading down to Nelson this weekend for some real life racing at the Ruff n’ Tuff!
Both cars are looking fast! Bring it home lads 💪
Good luck to all competitors!
While we await for final results pending some penalty investigations last night… let’s roll the tape back to the start of race 1 (or attempted start)😂
This isn’t the first time Hamish Kelsey has headed to Bark River with a championship lead! Arguably tonight is the more important one 😉
Will he leave there tonight with an extended points gap or does Noah Hutchison who’s not far behind have something in store?
