A LITTLE HUB HQ UPDATE 💫

We wanted to give you all a little update on where things are at with Hub HQ.

Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful in securing the funding we needed to see us through the transition to becoming a not-for-profit organisation. While this is obviously disappointing, we are still not giving up. 💙

We are required to vacate our current building by 8th September, so we have been working hard behind the scenes to find another option that could allow Hub HQ to continue.

We are currently working towards securing another building here in Alexandra. It is considerably smaller than our current space and will require some minor work to bring it up to the standard required for Council approval. There are also still consents and approvals that need to be worked through before we know for certain whether it will be possible.

But we're trying.

Alexandra has very limited commercial premises that can accommodate what Hub HQ needs — high ceilings, large open floor space and the ability to safely operate our inflatables and activities. With such a short timeframe and limited options available, we're doing our best to work with what we can find.

It may look a little different. It may be smaller. It may take some work.

But if we can make it happen, Hub HQ will continue. 🚀✨

We know there are still plenty of hurdles ahead, and we don't want to get everyone's hopes up before we have the necessary approvals in place. But after everything we've been through and after seeing the incredible support from our community, we're simply not ready to walk away yet.

So for now, we're asking you to keep your fingers crossed for us 🤞💙
