Honoring legacy, preserving passion, and building the future of Nepali sports! 🇳🇵

On the 33rd anniversary of the Nepal Olympic Museum- the only sports museum in Nepal and the sole Olympic museum in South Asia, we officially opened the “Beyond Medals: Preserving Nepal’s Sports History” exhibition.

This special moment was dedicated to remembering our visionary founder, the late Chhitij Arun Shrestha, and former treasurer, the late Manju Tuladhar, whose devotion laid the foundation for preserving our nation’s sporting history.

The ceremony was gracefully inaugurated by Hon. Minister of Education and Sports, Sasmit Pokharel, alongside distinguished guests including Bishal Shrestha (Vice President, NSC), Ram Charitra Meheta (Member Secretary, NSC), Sangita Pahari (MD, Nepal Telecom), Ministry Advisors Sidhi Benjankar and Raju Singh, and veteran Olympian & Museum Vice President Jit Bdr K.C.

Nepal Olympic Museum Announces 'Beyond Medals' Exhibition | Press Meet


Today, the Nepal Olympic Museum officially announced the country’s first-ever sports history exhibition, 'Beyond Medals: Preserving Nepal's Sports History'!

Marking the museum’s 33rd anniversary, NOM President Sansi Shrestha and Treasurer Ranjan Nagarkoti addressed the media today to share details about the upcoming three-day event, set for August 4–6 (Shrawan 19–21) at the Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal.

Selected photos from an archival vault of nearly 500,000 rare historic sports images 📸

Historic medals, iconic trophies, player jerseys, and vintage gear ⚽🏆

Tributes to late founders Ksh*tiz Arun Shrestha and SAG Taekwondo medalist Manju Tuladhar 🥋

The event will be inaugurated by Minister for Education and Sports Sasmit Pokharel.
