By mid September: pigeons are still around and much bigger than in Summer.

Tikka T1x: RWS high velocity (left) vs CCI velocitor (right) at 100 meters.

Winner is CCI Velocitor with good accuracy and bigger punch (117 foot pounds) at 100 meters. RWS can give only 82 foot pounds at 100 meters.
