NXT STARS International Basketball Tournament

Today we had our first meeting for the NXT STARS International Basketball Tournament 2027.
The energy is back, the ideas are flowing, and with everything we learned from last year’s edition, 2027 can and must become even better than ever.

The first requests and registrations have already arrived, which is a great sign.
From October 1st, official registrations will open, but of course you can already reach out for information at [email protected]

TROTS DAT HET GOED TERECHTKOMT

Als NXT STARS International Basketball Tournament zijn we trots dat we het eten dat na het Pinksterweekend over was, hebben kunnen doneren aan de Weerter Minima Groep.

Namens NXT STARS heeft Bert Peerlings de donatie persoonlijk overhandigd aan Judy Tangande en Iris Seerden, beiden vrijwilligers bij de Weerter Minima Groep.
Mooi om te zien dat wat bij ons niet meer nodig was, nu terechtkomt op een plek waar het écht verschil maakt.

Hopelijk is hiermee een mooie traditie en samenwerking ontstaan voor de komende jaren.

Dank aan iedereen die hierbij heeft geholpen.
Samen maken we Weert sterker.

Het tweede NXT STARS International Basketball Tournament zit erop en wat was het een fantastische editie. Het prachtige weer heeft daar zeker aan meegeholpen.

Drie dagen lang stond Weert in het teken van topbasketbal, verdeeld over vijf sporthallen, met 800 talentvolle basketballers uit binnen‑ en buitenland.

Wij willen iedereen die op welke manier dan ook heeft meegeholpen aan het succes van dit toernooi van harte bedanken. Zonder jullie was dit niet mogelijk geweest.

Meer dan 100 vrijwilligers hebben de afgelopen dagen keihard gewerkt om alles soepel te laten verlopen. Jullie inzet, energie en enthousiasme maken NXT STARS tot wat het is.

Schrijf het alvast in jullie agenda, want er komt een derde editie van het
NXT STARS International Basketball Tournament tijdens Pinksteren 2027, van 15 t/m 17 mei.

En geloof ons: de editie van 2027 wordt nóg beter dan die van 2026.

Together Strong, Together Greater

The second NXT STARS International Basketball Tournament has come to an end and what an amazing edition it was. The beautiful weather certainly helped make it unforgettable.

For three full days, Weert was all about top‑level basketball, spread across five sports halls, with 800 talented young players giving their very best.

We want to thank everyone who contributed in any way to the success of this tournament. It would not have been possible without you.

More than 100 volunteers worked tirelessly over the past days to make everything run smoothly. Your dedication, energy and passion are what make NXT STARS truly special.

Mark your calendars, because the third edition of the
NXT STARS International Basketball Tournament is coming during Pentecost 2027, from 15 to 17 May.

And believe us: the 2027 edition will be even better than 2026.

The results of the Grand NXT STARS Lottery for the Longfonds have been announced.

All prizes can be collected today, 25 May, at Sporthal Boshoven.

Prizes that are not collected today can still be claimed until 15 June by sending a photo of the winning ticket number to [email protected].

On behalf of the NXT STARS International Basketball Tournament and the Longfonds, we sincerely thank you for your support.

We’re looking back on a fantastic first day of the NXT STARS International Basketball Tournament. Across all sports halls, teams played with great energy, teamwork, and sportsmanship as they battled through their first games.

After the final buzzer, everyone enjoyed the sunshine outside relaxing, meeting new people, and soaking up the atmosphere. Others joined the amazing clinic by Henk Pieterse, which once again was a real highlight of the day.

This morning at 09:00, the first games of Day 2 have already tipped off. And throughout the entire day, visitors can still purchase tickets for the NXT STARS Lottery in support of the Longfonds with all proceeds going directly to the Longfonds.
