Blue Crescent Schools are Champions!

After a tough, hard-fought final, they secured a 2-1 victory to lift the trophy.

The third-place final lived up to the hype.

Bua Cement School FC have been crowned 3rd place winners of the Sokoto Secondary School Football Competition 2026, after a commanding 3-1 victory over Rochas Foundation.

The first half was all Bua Cement. They came out firing and struck three times before the break. The opener was one of the best goals of the tournament — pure quality. The second was a calmly converted penalty by Musa, one of the competition’s top scorers. That goal took him to 5 for the tournament and put him top of the scoring chart. The third, just before halftime, was clinical: 7 passes, one finish. Beautiful team football.

Rochas Foundation pressed hard in the opening 10 minutes but couldn’t convert their chances. The second half told a different story as Rochas found their moment and converted one big chance. But it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
