Mukaila Mujeeb of ASABARI UNITED has been crowned the BEST YOUNG PLAYER and HIGHEST GOAL SCORER of the ALH HAMZAT LET THEM SAY 4TH FOOTBALL COMPETITION.

The talented forward finished the tournament with an outstanding performance, scoring three direct free-kick goals, a remarkable achievement that earned him the Golden Boot award.

His brilliance, creativity, and eye for goal played a vital role in ASABARI UNITED’s successful campaign, making him one of the standout stars of the competition.

Congratulations to MUKAILA MUJEEB on this well-deserved recognition. The future is bright for this young talent.

ASABARI UNITED CROWNED CHAMPIONS OF ALH. HAMZAT “LET THEM SAY” 4TH EDITION

ASABARI UNITED have emerged champions of the Alh. Hamzat “Let Them Say” 4th Edition after defeating Dreamland FC 1–0 in a keenly contested final at Kínníkínní Primary School Pitch on Friday, August 14, 2026.

The much-anticipated final brought the competition to a thrilling conclusion as Dreamland FC and Asabari United battled for the prestigious title in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

Asabari United made the decisive breakthrough in the 26th minute of the first half, converting their first real opportunity of the game to take a 1–0 lead. Despite Dreamland FC's efforts to find an equaliser, Asabari United remained resolute and protected their advantage until the final whistle.

The victory crowned Asabari United as champions of the Alh. Hamzat “Let Them Say” 4th Edition, securing the title on their first attempt in the final.

Dreamland FC finished as runners-up, while Neatbreak FC claimed third position. Irewole FC completed the competition in fourth place.

The tournament donor,Alh. Hamzat (Let Them Say), expressed his appreciation to all the participating teams for their commitment, sportsmanship and contribution towards making the competition a success. He also applauded the supporters for their impressive turnout, good conduct and for showing him love throughout the tournament.

Alh. Hamzat equally appreciated the distinguished personalities who graced the final, particularly Saki Football Local Council Chairman, Babatunde Hassan, popularly known as “Brazil,” and the Leader of the Saki West Coaching Association, Coach Adeshina Taoheed, for honouring the occasion with their presence.

The successful conclusion of the fourth edition once again underlined the importance of grassroots football competitions in bringing communities together, discovering talents and providing young footballers with a platform to showcase their abilities.
