LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT ENDORSES GLOBAL TOURISM FORUM INVESTMENT SUMMIT*

The Lagos State Government has officially endorsed the Global Tourism Forum Investment Summit, scheduled to take place in Lagos, Nigeria, during the second week of May 2025. This significant event aims to showcase the state's vast tourism potential and attract global investment to drive sustainable growth.
During a meeting held in Lagos today, Dr. Douglas Fabeke, CEO of the United Mission for Rural and Urban African Communities Empowerment,(The Comsultants to the WTF Nigeria) on behalf of the the organiser; World Tourism Institute, London, expressed his gratitude to the Senior Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State, Idris Aregbe, for the government's confidence reposed in the organizing organization. Dr. Fabeke assured that the event will be a resounding success, yielding economically viable outcomes for the state.
The Lagos State Government's endorsement of the Global Tourism Forum Investment Summit aligns with its efforts to develop a sustainable tourism ecosystem, leveraging Nigeria's abundant resources.¹ This initiative is expected to boost investment, create jobs, and stimulate local economic growth.
