🚨 Roy Keane:
“Personally, I don’t think Arsenal should have been considering selling Martin Ødegaard right now. If there were concerns about the captaincy or the added responsibilities, I’d have looked at a different solution.
Take the captaincy off him if you feel it’s affecting his game. Give it to someone like Declan Rice and allow Ødegaard to focus purely on his football. Sometimes players perform best when they’re free from the extra pressure that comes with leadership roles.
For me, Ødegaard is still a top-class midfielder with outstanding technical ability, vision, and intelligence. Players like that aren’t easy to replace. If Arsenal were to let him go, they would be losing a very good footballer, and it could prove to be a mistake.”
Should Ødegaard be sold or be relieved of his leadership role?
I don't think that Ødegaard is finished, injury has been affecting his form lately but hopefully he regains he form back, and all this rubbish talk about my captain will die off instantly.
