Your savings account is not an investment.
It’s a 3% return in a 15% inflation economy.
You are losing money and calling it saving.
If you are under 25, you need ETFs, stocks, and dollar assets — not a savings account.
Time is your only unfair advantage. Stop wasting it.
Save this.
Share it with someone who needs to hear it.

This also applies to buying stocks, bonds or ETFs.
Your first investment should be knowledge.
Because without it, you're not investing — you're gambling and hoping it works out.
Land can depreciate. Crypto can crash. Stocks can dip.
But knowledge of how to navigate all of these? That never loses value.
This is exactly what Juva Academy is built for — to be that first investment that makes every other one make sense.
Gain enough knowledge before building your portfolio

You already know what ETF means,
Well, if you don't, an ETF is a basket of many stocks in one investment,
so instead of buying one company, you buy many at once, less risk, less stress, more diversification.
“CHAT ETF” is a generative AI and technology ETF,
it holds 25-50 companies that are building and running AI, think of Google, Amazon, AMD, Micron, and more inside one basket of stock.
So when AI grows, your money grows.
Fun facts you need to know about this ETF:
-There are no dividends,
-Expense ratio is 0.75% per year,
-it's a growth investment,
-it's actively managed by investment professionals, listed on the US stock market.
So How do you buy “CHAT ETF” as a Nigerian?
✅Download Bamboo, you can also use Trove, Chaka, ✅create and verify your account,(NIN required)
✅fund your account with as little as $10,
✅search for ticker “CHAT” buy your desired unit and hold.
Knowledge is your first investment, before you put money anywhere, understand why, when, and how.

Inflation in Nigeria is around 15%.
That means every year your money sits there, it is losing purchasing power. You are not growing wealth. You are watching it shrink slowly.
This is not investing. This is an expensive way to feel safe.
Here is where young people with time on their side should actually be looking:
1. ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds)
Think of it as buying a small piece of hundreds of companies at once. Platforms like Bamboo, Chaka, and Trove give you access. Long term, the S&P 500 has historically returned around 10% annually in dollar terms — that is real growth.
2. Nigerian Stocks via NGX
If you want naira-denominated investments, the Nigerian stock market has outperformed fixed income in several years. You can start with as little as ₦5,000 through a stockbroker.
3. Dollar-denominated platforms:
Risevest, Bamboo, and similar apps let you invest in dollars, which protects you from naira devaluation on top of giving you returns.
4. High-yield instruments (if you must do fixed income)
If you want low-risk, at least move from a savings account to Treasury Bills. Rates are currently in the high teens — still not enough to build wealth, but far better than your bank's savings rate.
The difference between you at 25 putting money in a savings account vs an ETF is not just returns.
It is compound interest over 30 years. It is the difference between struggling at 55 and being free.
Time is your biggest asset right now. Do not waste it on 3%.

Nobody taught you how money works.
Not in primary school.
Not in secondary school.
Not even in university.
You learned the water cycle.
You memorised the periodic table.
But the one thing you would use
every single day of your adult life — they left it out completely.
So when your salary landed
and disappeared before month end — it was not because you were careless.
You were untaught.
That is the exact gap
Juva Academy exists to close.
