This my princess sucks like a prince. π
Is that how princesses eat these days? Because this little girl is feeding like she has a full-time job.
She dey add weight every day, while me wey be her mama dey reduce like person wey register for weight-loss competition without knowing.
Pregnancy collected my strength, breastfeeding is collecting the remaining one, and madam is using everything to grow fresh cheeks and fine thighs.

"YOU NEVER BORN?"
Can we please retire this question?
Some people will see a pregnant woman and the very first thing that comes to their mind is:
"You never born?"
Some women start showing very early.
Some carry big bumps.
Some carry small bumps.
Some look like they're about to give birth at 7 months, while others barely look pregnant at 9 months.
Yet people will see a pregnant woman and immediately start calculating her delivery date with their eyes. π
And if you've ever been pregnant, you'll understand why that question can be annoying.
Trust me, nobody is more aware of the pregnancy than the person carrying it. π
Instead of:
β "You never born?"
Try:
β
"How are you feeling?"
β
"Hope you're doing okay?"
β
"Wishing you a safe delivery."
Pregnancy already comes with enough discomfort, sleepless nights, body changes, and unsolicited advice. Let's not add interrogation to the list.

Having your first child and having your second child are two completely different experiences.
With the first baby, everything is new.
You worry about every little thing. You Google everything. You check if the baby is breathing every five minutes. ππ Every cry sounds like an emergency. Every fever feels like the end of the world.
But by the time the second baby comes, life has already trained you small. π
You know that not every cry means danger. You know that sleepless nights won't last forever. You know that babies are stronger than they look. And most importantly, you know that you will survive those exhausting newborn days.
The fears are fewer because experience has replaced a lot of the uncertainty.
Even when challenges come, you're not as overwhelmed because you've walked that road before and made it through.
That's not to say the second baby is easy o. π Children will still humble you in their own special ways.
But there's a certain confidence that comes with motherhood the second time around. You panic less, trust yourself more, and enjoy the journey a little better.
To all the second-time mums, did you find motherhood easier the second time, or did your second child come and rewrite all the rules?

Things people told me about pregnancy that are not 100% true π
πΉ Not every pregnant woman develops a linea nigra (that dark line on the tummy)I didn't have It.
πΉ Even if you don't scratch your belle and apply all the creams and oils in the world, you can still get stretch marks.
πΉ Not every pregnant woman has morning sickness.
πΉ Not everyone develops food cravings or strange cravings.
πΉ A pointed tummy doesn't mean it's a boy, and a round tummy doesn't mean it's a girl. π
πΉ Not every pregnant woman experiences swollen feet. I didn't.
πΉ Not every pregnant woman has a protruding belly button.
πΉ Not every woman's water breaks dramatically before labor starts.
πΉ Some women don't lose their mucus plug until labor is already underway.
πΉ Not every pregnant woman gains a lot of weight.
πΉ Heartburn doesn't mean your baby will definitely have plenty of hair. π
Pregnancy is not one-size-fits-all. Every woman, every body, and every pregnancy can be completely differentβeven for the same woman.
What pregnancy myth did you discover wasn't true for you? I'm in the Comment section reading π€ͺ

Sweet face of a 7β8 months pregnant womanβ¦
A little tired, a little swollen, but carrying a whole human being and still showing up every day.
The body is changing, the emotions are everywhere, sleep is becoming a luxury π, but somehow, thereβs still this beautiful glow that comes with knowing youβre growing a life.
Pregnancy may not always be easy, but looking back at these moments, I know Iβll miss them. π€°π½π

One of those Sundays, I was convinced it would be the last church service I'd attend before giving birth. π
For almost two weeks, I had what felt like menstrual cramps and Braxton Hicks contractions. Every day, I thought, "This is it!" But God kept saying, "Not yet."
To every pregnant woman and expectant mother reading this, may God strengthen you through every stage of your journey. May He grant you a safe pregnancy, a safe delivery, and a healthy baby. π
You will not die during childbirth. Your labor will be successful, your joy will be complete, and you will return home with your baby in good health. In Jesus' name, Amen. β€οΈπ

God has been so faithful throughout this journey. From pregnancy to safe delivery, His hand was evident every step of the way. To Him alone be all the glory. πππ
