The more I try to understand Ferran Torres and the role he plays in a team, the more l get confuse. 😕
In my 2 decades of watching football, I’ve never seen a player like this Ferran Torres guy. I still can not figure out whether he’s a good or a bad player.
I can't exactly point out Ferran Torres strengths and his weaknesses.
He has played under some of the best coaches, from Pep to Luis Enrique, Xavi, Flick, De la Fuente, and none of these coaches have been able to unlock his potentials and bring out the SHARK in him.
He’s so weird that he was born on Feb 29th. His birthday only comes once in every 4yrs. How can one human being confusion be confusing the whole world? His consistency in inconsistency is louder than the noise from a full parked stadium.
When he got that chance and went 1v1 with the goalkeeper, l knew he was going to lose the ball. As usual, Ferran didn't disappoint me. He did exactly what l expected him to do. 😍

I honestly think that those comparing Ronaldo to Messi are doing Ronaldo a very big disfavour, they keep pushing him to replicate what Messi does when it's obvious that no one can match Messi's performance.
No one measures himself with the gods and get honoured. These people keep pushing Ronaldo into shame. Look how he disgraced himself against a very weak and average team like DRC.
The worst of it all is that these people keep making excuses to cover up for his overwhelming failure.
They said Messi’s hat-trick was meaningless because he scored it against a “weak Algeria.”
Fair enough.
Nemesis got up with them quickly and Road got 6.7 rating against an even “weaker DRC.” 😅
These people who are trying so hard to discredit Messi's hattrick will celebrate so hard like Ronaldo has won the World Cup if it were to be him who scored the hattrick.
When Messi achieves something, they say FIFA helped him. When Ronaldo did, they say, “He definitely deserved it.”
The narrative keep changing depending on the player.
Don’t get me wrong, I am not one of those radical Messi fans who talk down at Ronaldo. I only don't agree that he's equal or any where near Messi' level. That does not mean Ronaldo is not good enough. Far from it. Ronaldo is one of the greatest players the game of football has ever seen and Messi is the GREATEST OF ALL TIME. 🐐

Let's talk about Cristiano Ronaldo's performance against DR Congo 🇨🇩
10 MEN & A STATUE
I made a post few days ago and I said the easiest way to knock Potugal out of the World Cup is to start and play Ronaldo in every match and the god of football will use Roberto Martinez to make it happen.
Imagine a player many considered as the goat, played a World Cup match and registered 0goal, 0assist, 0shot on target, 0shot blocked, 0key passes, 0accurate crosses, 0dribbles, 0tackles, 0ground duels, 0defensive contributions.
As a matter of fact, he was Portugal's lowest rated player (6.2/10) by Sofascore. 😍
Ronaldo is struggling to make an impact in 2026 yet Roberto Martinez said he will be there fighting for the world cup in 2030. 😍
Isn't it obvious that his time is off and he should retire when the applauds is still loud?

𝔹𝕀𝔾 𝔻𝔼𝔹𝔸𝕋𝔼: Was Deco right to choose Anthony Gordon over Marcus Rashford?
Looking at Gordon’s work rate versus Rashford’s speed, did Deco made the correct call for the squad?

Let me take you down the memory lane and remind you how we've pulled transfers of some
top strikers in the past.
In 2004, Barça wanted to sign Samuel Eto'o from Mallorca, Real Madrid did everything possible to hijack the deal. Even though Eto'o is their former player, he publicly declared in an interview that he only want to play for Barcelona. Eto'o made it easy for Barcelona to sealed the deal for €24M.
In 2022, Barça wanted Lewandowski as they look forward to rebuilding their team, Bayern Munich did everything possible to stop him from leaving. Robert stood his ground and publicly declared that his time in Munich was over and he wants to join Barcelona. In his words, I hope Bayern won’t stop me from leaving'. That was when Bayern backed off and eventually, Robert move to Barcelona was completed.
Coutinho and Dembele literally forced their ways to Barcelona against their wishes of their former employers. This is not new in football.
The current situation with Julián Álvarez is very similar to that of Eto'o and Lewandowski. Atlético Madrid are making it difficult for him to leave for his dream club, while Real Madrid have entered
the race to try to disrupt and complicate the deal.
The solution is simple, Álvarez needs to force the move. If he truly wants to join Barcelona, he will have to take his stand against the two Madrid clubs. Let him go to the press and tell everyone that he wants to move to Barcelona. Once that happens, Atlético will have no choice but to negotiate with Barcelona. Real Madrid will be silence completely and the transfer will go
through seamlessly.
Dear Álvarez, the ball is in your court, do it, just as the legends before you.

Going into this World Cup, Potugal have one major weakness that opponent don't need to exploit but pray that the god of football uses Roberto Martinez to play into their hands.
The easiest way for Potugal to get kick out of this year's World Cup is by starting and playing Ronaldo in every match. The mission will be achieve within a short time if he plays full time.
Every right thinking person knows that Potugal is better without Ronaldo. We saw how the team thrives against Armenia in the absence of Ronaldo when he was suspended for elbow one of the Ireland defenders. The Portuguese played as a team and recorded a 9-1 victory to cement their qualification for the World Cup.
In the absent of Ronaldo, different players got on the score sheet against Armenia. The players were free to express themselves and showed their talents rather than playing to satisfy the ego of their grandpa.
The Siuuu Republic will try to deny this reality, l honestly hope Roberto Martinez do too. I hope that he will stick to massaging and feeding Ronaldo's ego in the World Cup. If this happens, one small team can send them parking just like Morocco did in 2022. Once it is done, we'll have enough ingredients to cook and roast them. 😋
The days should just go by quickly, so the World Cup can start, we are starving. 😉

Let's talk about Julian Alvarez transfer saga
I'm not move by Perez €150M bid for Alvarez.
Let me explain:
Perez bid was never about signing Alvarez as Real Madrid clearly don't need him and never have him in their plans.
🔸️Perez €150M bid for Alvarez is more political. It was part of his campaign promises he made to Madridistas for his re-election. He said he will make a major signing. Now that he's reelected, he made a bid to Atlético their city rival knowing very well that Atlético won't sell their best player to Real Madrid their direct rival. Whether he sign Alvarez or not, he has kept his promise by making a public mega offer.
🔸️ Perez €150M is aim at driving Alvarez market value very high and make any potential transfer to Barcelona difficult than it is already. He know that Barça won't match the figure he has tactically offered. This is just to sabotage Barcelona and complicate things for them the more.
While Perez will continue to play politics with Madridistas and also try to sabotage Barcelona, the ball remains in Alvarez court. It is up to him to make a decision and push if he really wants to join Barcelona.
One thing is clear, Barça train doesn't wait for too long, and it's moves only once. While Alvarez is our top striker target, I'm sure Barça have other options.
GOOD LUCK TO ALVAREZ.

They used to stay up all nights planning on how to stop Negreira in El Clásico.
Negreira used to dribbled from the midfield, break through their defence and scored a banger.
Real Madrid really suffered in the hands of Negreira. 😍

Let's talk about Julian Alvarez and Michael Olise joining Real Madrid.
For a start, I love Alvarez I want him to sign for Barcelona but I don't support the ideal of breaking the bank for him. Barça must learn from the past and not make the same mistakes that we made in Griezmann and Coutinho deals.
If Alvarez and Olise end up signing for Real Madrid, l will be more than happy.
Let me explain:
Aside the fact that Hansi Flick is doing an amazing job with his team, one thing that has really helped us to dominate the Spanish football in the last 2 seasons is the ego and star war going on between Real Madrid players. The lack of team spirit in their dressing room limits their performance on the pitch, and no one has benefited from this than Barcelona. If they add Alvarez and Olise to their already packed star squad, it will create more chaos.
Think about it 🤔
Which position will Álvarez and Olise play?
Alvarez as a center striker, Mbappé will have to drop back to the wing. This will cause the Vinicius and Mbappé saga to resurface again.
Olise as a winger, another rivalry between him and Vinicius. Don't forget Rodrigo will be back in the squad next season.
If Alvarez or Olise is deployed to plays as a second striker or a free-roaming player, Jude Bellingham position in the team will be affected.
So either way, two big stars will be left out of the starting Xl.
In Real Madrid dressing room, there will be:
Struggle for playing time.
Struggle for roles.
Struggle for stardom.
The question here is not about Álvarez and Olise quality.
Do Real Madrid really need them?
Real Madrid right now clearly need:
•A midfield.
•Organized play.
•A consistent right winger.
•Tactical balance.
Not a new striker and a winger for €150 million each simply because they don't want Barça to have any of them.
Real Madrid signing Alvarez and Olise will be a repeated mistake. Let them keep assembling stars without resolving the conflicts between them. The stars will continue to fight each other while Barça will keep winning every possible trophy in Spain.
