The Moment I Realized I Was Limiting My Own Growth

I’ll never forget the day I sat across the table from someone I admired—brilliant, driven, and grounded. As we talked about vision and capacity, he said something that hit me like a ton of bricks:

“You’re waiting to be more before you do more. But the growth you're waiting for won’t come until you move.”

In that moment, it clicked.
It wasn’t a lack of opportunity that was slowing me down, Surprisingly it was a mindset.

I had subtly convinced myself that I needed more qualifications, more time, more validation before I could step fully into my calling. But the truth was, I had enough to start. And starting is what multiplies your capacity.

Since then, I’ve learned that self-imposed ceilings often look like waiting for perfect conditions.

But growth comes when we stretch, when we risk, when we show up unsure but willing.
That’s where the transformation happens.
