Now imagine, while still a first-team player at United, Fernandes has already completed his UEFA B licence. This wasn’t a hobby on the side; it was an integrated, club-supported process.

See why its easier for players than for outsiders:

1. Clubs actively organise, fund, and arrange these UEFA coaching courses for their squad members who are interested. These players don’t have to start looking for a course, or pay the full fee from their pocket (like me) or beg for time off work to do the course. The club just integrates the licence into their schedule, and it's even during the season ooooo.

Now this is the harder part,
Non-players must:
- Pay for the courses themselves (UEFA B alone is expensive and time-intensive).
- Secure the prerequisite coaching hours (six months minimum for UEFA B in most associations).
- Fit everything around a day job.

Since every UEFA licence level demands real coaching hours in 11v11 or 8v8 football before you can even apply for the next one.
