I watched the interview hosted by Ify's kitchen on YouTube where she interviewed Charles Born.
Listening to his story about his father, reinforced what we have said on this page repeatedly.
A father's role is too critical to be treated casually.
See how his father's reactions and actions still breaks him years after that experience.
It is so sad how some men treated their children poorly and so strictly that the children grow up not wanting to have anything to do with them.
There is no trophy for being a father who bullied his children, treated one child better than the other, or constantly beat them to pulp.
Be a father whose children would want his opinion on a business idea, choice of a spouse, or even location.
Be a conversational father not an oppressor!
Even if the child is not yours, father them well.
We pray that Charles continues to heal emotionally and becomes a great father to his own children in the future.
