For those called to more than just parenting—this is where we rise. It's more than mere words but with concrete actions Together, we build legacy.

A trusted tribe, raising Godly, responsible and excellent children with intention, conviction, and love. The issue of children is what every parent and adult should be concerned with. The better society will dream of is achievable with Godly children who are the change agents. Hence, all hands must be on deck to get the best from our children by the right things we do and say which form the bedrock of who they will eventually become.

THE SCHOOL BAG ISN’T THE ONLY THING THAT NEEDS PREPARING. 🎒

School is resuming.

And while we are busy buying books, sorting uniforms, paying fees, arranging transportation and getting everything our children need for school…

Have we prepared the CHILD?

Have we had the conversations they need to hear before they return?

Have we thought about the new challenges they may face at their age?

Have we considered how to support their academics without putting unnecessary pressure on them?

Have we talked about friendships, behaviour, responsibility, social media, safety, independence and the kind of person we are helping them become?

Because back-to-school preparation is more than school supplies.

It is also about preparing our children — and ourselves — for another year of growth.

That is why The Children’s Matters Hub presents…

THE PARENT READY MASTERCLASS 2026

3 Days. 3 Stages. One Prepared Parent.

A special Back-to-School Parent Masterclass designed around the different stages of your child's educational journey.

DAY 1 — PRIMARY SCHOOL

Raising a Ready Child

For parents of children in primary school.

We will look at the things your child needs to get ready for the new school year, building responsibility and independence, supporting learning, creating healthy routines, having the right conversations and recognising the things that may require your attention.

DAY 2 — SECONDARY SCHOOL

Raising Teenagers You Can Trust

For parents of teenagers in secondary school.

We will talk about academics, teenage behaviour, friendships, social media, peer pressure, communication, boundaries, responsibility, emotional development and how to stay connected with a child who is becoming increasingly independent.

DAY 3 — HIGHER INSTITUTION

From Home to Campus

For parents whose children are about to enter higher institution or are already there.

We will discuss preparing for independence, money, safety, accommodation, relationships, decision-making, responsibility, communication from a distance and knowing when to step in and when to step back.

And across the three days, we will keep coming back to one important question:

How do we raise grounded children in a world that is changing so quickly?

This is NOT a free webinar.

But it is highly subsidised because we want more parents to have access to practical knowledge and tools that can genuinely help them.

*BEFORE YOU BUILD YOUR ONLINE CLASSROOM, BUILD YOUR CLASSROOM FOUNDATION.*

You can’t build a house from the roof.

And as much as teaching is changing, one thing remains true:

The platform may change, but the teacher remains the teacher.

Whether you are teaching physically or online, you need the confidence, skills, emotional intelligence and practical experience to manage learners, create meaningful connections and make learning happen.

That is why I created Outstanding Teachers Academy (OTA).

After almost three decades in the teaching profession, I want to use my experience to help teachers navigate the realities of today's classroom and become more confident, effective and impactful educators.

Who is OTA for?

🔹 New graduates and new teachers stepping into the teaching profession who need practical guidance, mentorship and support.

🔹 Teachers who have been teaching for some time but are struggling with classroom management, learner behaviour, parents, school expectations or other challenges.

🔹 Experienced teachers who want to refresh their skills, understand today's learners better and embrace practical, modern approaches to teaching and learning.

You don't have to figure it all out by yourself.

You don't have to keep making the same mistakes because nobody showed you a better way.

You can learn.
You can ask questions.
You can receive guidance.
You can grow.

And that's what Outstanding Teachers Academy is about.

It is a premium coaching and professional development platform where teachers will receive practical training, mentorship, support, resources and guidance to help them take their teaching to the next level.

Cohort One begins on 1st September.

We're only a few days away, and important dates and programme information will be shared in the Founding Teachers Interest List.

So, if you've been thinking about it, don't procrastinate.

👉 Comment “INTERESTED” or “TEACHER” and send a WhatsApp message to 09156521407 to join the Founding Teachers Interest List.

And please note:

OTA is NOT free.

However, the investment for Cohort One will be highly subsidised exclusively for our founding teachers. Subsequent cohorts will not enjoy the same founding rate.

If you're ready to invest in yourself, receive mentorship, strengthen your classroom practice and become a better teacher, this is your opportunity.

Join the Founding Teachers Interest List today.

*WEEK 2 DONE! Secondary School Prep Workshop*

Another amazing Saturday at the Secondary School Prep Workshop! ❤️

Two weeks ago, we focused on something every child needs as they move into secondary school:

BECOMING RESPONSIBLE AND INDEPENDENT.

Secondary school comes with more freedom, but that freedom also comes with more responsibility.

We talked about things like taking charge of their schoolwork, managing their time, keeping their belongings organised, making good decisions, taking responsibility for their actions, and learning to do things for themselves instead of always waiting for Mum or Dad.

And yes, there was plenty of interaction, questions, laughter and practical activities along the way! 😊

If your child is moving to JSS1/Year 7 this September and you haven't registered yet, it's still not too late.

Once you register, your child gets access to:

📘 Secondary School Readiness Workbook
📝 Worksheet & Learning Resources Pack
🎥 Recordings of the classes already held
🎥 Recordings from last year's Secondary School Prep Workshop
🎓 Certificate of Participation
🌟 An extra month of mentorship in September

So even though we've started, your child can still join us and catch up with everything we've covered so far.

Secondary school is a new phase. Let's help them enter prepared, confident and ready to take responsibility for their own success.

📲 Send PREP to 09156521407 on WhatsApp for registration and enquiries.

And if you know a parent with a child entering JSS1/Year 7 this September, please share this with them. ❤️

Preparation begins before the first day of school.

*WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE ARE WE RAISING?*

Lately, I have found myself asking this question again and again.

The stories we keep hearing about young people losing their lives through violence, jungle justice, bullying, abuse, reckless actions and circumstances that should never have happened are deeply disturbing.

The story of Ibee the young university graduate in Jos who was brutally beaten and killed over an allegation, still troubles me.

Because behind every headline is a human being.

A son.
A daughter.
Somebody's child.
Somebody's hope.
Somebody's future.

And this is where I believe we must pause and look beyond the news.

What are we teaching our children about the value of human life?

Are we teaching them that being angry gives them the right to hurt someone?

Are we teaching them to investigate before judging?

Are we teaching them that an accusation is not the same as guilt?

Are we teaching them how to disagree without becoming violent?

Are we teaching them empathy, self-control, respect and kindness?

Because we cannot keep complaining about the society our children will inherit while doing little about the people we are raising today.

As a seasoned educator and Parent-Child Coach, this is one of the reasons I keep speaking about parenting, character and the responsibility we have towards the young people entrusted to us.

At The Children's Matters Hub, my work is built around one simple conviction:

Children matter. Their character matters. Their safety matters. And the future they will create matters.

Through the Right Parenting Academy, I work with parents who want to understand their parenting responsibilities better, become more intentional and raise children with values that will guide them even when nobody is watching.

Through the Outstanding Children and Teenagers Academy, we mentor young people to develop good character, make wise decisions, respect others, manage challenges and become responsible individuals.

And through my work with schools and educators, I support those who stand daily in the gap of educating and shaping young minds.

But I know I cannot do this alone.

I need parents.
I need educators.
I need schools.
I need churches and organisations.
I need adults who genuinely care about the next generation.
And I need young people who are willing to learn and become better.

This is not just my message.

It is our responsibility.

Let us teach our children that kindness is not weakness.

Let us teach them that strength is not in intimidation.

Let us teach them that somebody else's mistake does not give them permission to destroy a life.

Let us teach them to speak up when something is wrong, seek help when they are in trouble and allow the appropriate authorities to handle serious offences.

And above all, let us model the values we expect them to live by.

Because children are watching us.

The question is not only, “What kind of society are we leaving for our children?”

We must also ask:

“What kind of children are we raising for the society?”

That is the work.

That is the responsibility.

And that is the partnership I am inviting you into.

Parents, schools, educators, organisations and young people—let's connect, collaborate and do our part.

If you would like me to speak to your parents, pupils, students, teachers or staff; facilitate a parenting programme, mentor young people or partner with your school or organisation, I am open to conversations and bookings.

Together, we can do better.

Because raising a better generation cannot be left to somebody else.

*First thing First: Foundation Matters*

A new academic session is just around the corner.

Schools are preparing.
Teachers are preparing.
And many schools are already looking for teachers and educators to join their teams.

With all the excitement around online teaching, digital learning and the opportunities available on the internet, there is one thing we must not forget:

*The physical classroom is not going anywhere.*

No matter how much teaching moves online, the physical classroom will remain a major part of education.

And if the physical classroom remains the foundation, then the foundation must be strong.

That responsibility rests largely on the teacher.

The teacher must be able to take charge of the classroom, create structure, manage behaviour, connect with learners, communicate effectively, deliver lessons well and, most importantly, make sure that real teaching and learning are taking place.

A teacher who is not confident managing a physical classroom may find that moving online does not automatically solve the problem.

The platform may change. The teacher remains the teacher.

So, whether you are:

🔹 A new graduate stepping into the classroom for the first time;

🔹 A new teacher who needs practical guidance and mentorship;

🔹 A teacher who has been teaching for some time but is struggling with classroom management, learner behaviour, parents or school expectations;

🔹 Or an experienced teacher who wants to upgrade your teaching skills and understand how to effectively teach today's 21st-century learners

You need the right support.

You need someone who can help you navigate the realities of the classroom.

You need practical strategies, not just theories.

You need guidance from someone who has actually spent years in the classroom.

This is one of the reasons I created *Outstanding Teachers Academy (OTA)*

OTA is a *premium coaching and professional development platform for teachers*, created to provide the practical support, mentorship, guidance and skills teachers need to become more confident, competent and effective educators.

Through the academy, teachers will learn, grow, ask questions, share experiences and receive practical guidance that they can apply in their classrooms.

The goal is simple:

*To help teachers build stronger classrooms, become better educators and make a positive difference in the lives of their learners.*

The Founding Teachers Interest List is currently open.

If you believe this is something you need for yourself, now is the time to indicate your interest.

And if you are a *school owner, school head or administrator*, I encourage you to think about your teachers too.

A teacher who is better prepared, better supported and better equipped is an asset to your school.

Encourage your teachers to take advantage of this opportunity.

Let's prepare our teachers before the new academic session fully begins.

Because a smooth academic year does not happen by accident.

It begins with prepared teachers.
