This is a different world. We don’t talk about bruno no no no šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

This morning during morning devotion, we read Joshua 1:1–9, and I couldn’t get past the number of times God told Joshua to be strong and courageous.

Verse 6, 7 and 9. Three times.

And I thought, God is not a talkative.
If He keeps repeating something, it means something.

Joshua wasn’t new to the assignment. This was the same Joshua who had gone into the Promised Land before and come back saying, essentially, there are no giants here that our God cannot handle.

He knew God.
He knew God’s promise.
He had been Moses’ aide. He had seen what God could do.

But now Moses was dead.
And suddenly, Joshua wasn’t just the man who had been following Moses.

He was the leader.

I believe that’s the weight of leadership.

You can be a person of faith. You can have seen God move before. You can know what God has said. And still find yourself standing in a season where the weight of what you’re carrying requires a different kind of courage.

And God knew Joshua.

He knew what was happening inside him, even if nobody else could see it.

People can see your competence.
God sees your internal condition.

People can see that you’re doing well.
God sees the places where you need reassurance.

And I love that God didn’t just say, Go.
He said, As I was with Moses, so I will be with you.

In other words I’ve got you.
Be strong. Be courageous.

Don’t you just love this God? šŸ˜‚

Perhaps God’s repetition isn’t because we didn’t hear Him the first time.

Maybe He knows something about what we’re about to carry that we don’t know yet.

So when He keeps reminding you, listen.

Be strong. Be courageous.

If you’re in a season where God keeps repeating something to you maybe it’s not that you didn’t hear Him. Maybe He knows what you’re about to carry.

No More Hiding.

Nobody is coming to force you to take care of yourself anymore.

When you were a child, someone reminded you to eat your vegetables, drink your water, sleep, take your medicine…

Adulthood is different.

You have to notice when something isn’t right.
You have to pay attention to your body.
You have to go for that check-up.
You have to find out what you actually need.
And you have to make better choices even when nobody is watching.

Taking responsibility for yourself is part of becoming.

Take care of yourself. Your body is your responsibility too. šŸ¤

Not every opportunity is an answer to your prayer. Some are distractions.

Pray for discernment. Be patient. Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Journal Entry 008: I think this week was about returning to some things I had stopped doing.

They are beginning to feel natural again. Old interests. Old connections. Old parts of my brain that I had almost forgotten were there.

It’s funny how you can think you’ve lost something when really, you just stopped using it.

I’m also thinking a lot about seasons.

You have to understand that some things have served their purpose.

Some places have held you for a particular season.

Some dreams have been waiting patiently.

And sometimes you don’t need a dramatic sign to know that something is changing.

You just notice that you no longer fit the way you used to.

One day at a time. I don’t have everything figured out. I say it so I believe it, and I think I’m becoming more comfortable with that. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Some seasons have more questions than answers, and it’s alright to pay attention to what is coming back to life.

No More Hiding.

Your love language is more than a list of things you want people to do for you.

It can also teach you how to love yourself and how to love others.

How do you give the love you love to receive?

Pay attention to how people treat those they have nothing to gain from. Character is often revealed in how we treat people who cannot benefit us.

What do you think? šŸ‘€

Kaly Kaly Update šŸ””

The guy increased his rate from 900 cedis to 2,000 cedis and the internet is outraged.

My thoughts?

He’s probably trying to reduce the number of daily requests.

In July, he made a personalised birthday song every single day.

That’s 31 days of writing creative lyrics, using different names, recording, editing, posting all by himself.

When your business depends entirely on you, pricing is one way to protect your time and energy.

Not every price increase is about making more money. Sometimes it’s about making the business sustainable.

Price is a filter.

When demand exceeds your capacity, you either:
• work yourself into burnout,
• build a team,
• or charge more.

Another thought…

The more accessible something becomes, the less special it can begin to feel.

Higher pricing doesn’t just reduce demand. It can also make the service feel more premium.

The internet loves affordable.
Businesses need sustainable.

Creators don’t only manage money.
They manage time, attention and capacity.

I’m still rooting for him.

What do you think?
Was the increase justified, or did he go too far?

Stay curious. Stay open. Keep learning.

No more hiding.
