Curacao boss Dick Advocaat fighting back the tears ahead of their opening World Cup game vs Germany 🥹

The veteran coach guided the tiny nation of just 150,000 people to its first-ever World Cup, describing it as the greatest achievement of his nearly 40-year managerial career.

Following their historic qualification, Advocaat stepped down in February to care for his ill daughter, saying that "family comes before football."

He returned to the dugout in May becoming the oldest manager ever to oversee a World Cup match at 78 years and 280 days old.
