90% of people trying to lose weight are following the wrong workout.
I know that sounds controversial, but hear me out.
Every day, I see people downloading random workout videos from YouTube, copying influencers on Instagram, or doing the same routine as a friend.
Then, a few weeks later, they say:
“Coach, I’ve been working out, but I’m not seeing results.”
Here’s the truth…
The best workout isn’t the hardest workout.
It’s the workout that’s designed for your body, your fitness level, and your weight loss goal.
Someone trying to lose 5kg doesn’t need the same workout as someone trying to lose 30kg.
Someone with knee pain shouldn’t be doing the same routine as someone with no mobility limitations.
This is exactly why we built personalized workouts into the Fitness Space ecosystem.
If you’re using our Android app, your workout is tailored to your goals and ready for you.
If you’re an iPhone user in our premium WhatsApp coaching community, your personalized workout is sent to you every night, so you always know exactly what to do the next day.

The biggest protein mistake isn’t what most people think.
Most people believe the problem is that they’re not eating protein.
I don’t think that’s the problem.
I think the problem is that we’ve become comfortable with seeing protein on our plates without asking if there’s actually enough of it.
A small piece of meat in a large pot of soup.
One egg beside a mountain of rice.
A tiny piece of fish that’s almost an afterthought.
It feels like a balanced meal.
Until two or three hours later…
You’re opening the cupboard.
Looking for biscuits.
Reaching for bread.
Snacking on chin chin.
Wondering why you’re hungry again.
We’ve been taught to judge a meal by how full it makes us.
But fullness and satisfaction aren’t always the same thing.
A plate can leave your stomach full…
And still leave your body searching for what it needs.
That’s why, at Fitness Space, we encourage our members to ask a different question before they eat.
Not,
“Will this fill me?”
But,
“Where’s my protein?”
It’s a small question.
But it changes the way you build your plate.
Instead of piling on more rice, eba, fufu, yam, or garri, you begin to think about balance.
You become more intentional.
And over time, those small decisions make healthy eating feel less like a diet and more like a lifestyle.
💚 Let’s talk.
Think about the meals you ate yesterday.
Which one do you think had the least protein?
No judgment.
Just awareness.
Share it in the comments.
You might discover you’re not the only one who’s been overlooking this.
If you’re ready to stop guessing and start building balanced Nigerian meals that actually keep you satisfied, Fitness Space is here to help.
We don’t believe in complicated meal plans or expensive “diet foods.”
We teach you how to make healthier choices using the foods you already know and love.
One balanced plate.
One better decision.
One healthier lifestyle.
Join the Fitness Space community today, and let’s build habits that last.
Have you noticed how we always have a date in mind?
Not today.
Not now.
Some other time.
“I’ll start after this weekend.”
“When the children go back to school.”
“After this wedding.”
“When business settles.”
“After this project at work.”
“When I have more money.”
“When life becomes less stressful.”
It sounds sensible.
Almost responsible.
Because who wants to start a healthy lifestyle when life is already so busy?
But life has an interesting way of working.
The wedding ends.
Another celebration comes.
The children go back to school.
School runs begin.
Business slows down.
Then business becomes too busy.
One challenge leaves.
Another quietly takes its place.
Without realizing it, weeks become months.
Months become years.
Not because you didn’t care about your health.
But because you were waiting for life to stop happening.
Then one day, you look back and wonder…
“Where did the time go?”
Maybe we’ve been asking ourselves the wrong question.
Instead of asking,
“When should I start?”
What if we asked,
“What’s the healthiest decision I can make next?”
Not tomorrow.
Not next week.
The next decision.
Choosing water instead of a sugary drink.
Taking a walk before the day ends.
Adding vegetables to your plate.
Stopping when you’re satisfied instead of when the plate is empty.
Those choices don’t look dramatic.
But neither does a seed the day it’s planted.
The difference is what happens when you keep showing up.
Day after day.
Choice after choice.
Until one day, the life you wanted quietly becomes the life you’re living.
💚 Can we have an honest conversation?
What’s one thing you’ve been waiting to happen before you start taking your health more seriously?
No judgment.
Just honesty.
Leave it in the comments.
You might be surprised by how many people have been carrying the same excuse.
And if you reached the end of this post thinking,
“I think I’ve been waiting long enough…”
We’d love to walk this journey with you.
At Fitness Space, we don’t expect perfection.
We don’t expect you to have everything figured out.
We simply help you make one better choice today…
Then another tomorrow…
Until healthy living becomes your new normal.
Send us a message or join the Fitness Space community.
We’ll meet you exactly where you are.
Because lasting change doesn’t begin when life becomes perfect.
It begins with the next choice you make.
One of our members sent me a message recently.
It wasn't about losing 5kg.
It wasn't about fitting into a smaller dress.
It wasn't even about the number on the scale.
She simply said:
**"Coach, I climbed the stairs today without stopping to catch my breath."**
That message stayed with me.
Because it reminded me of something we often forget.
Some of the biggest victories on a weight-loss journey will never show up on a weighing scale.
The scale won't tell you that you're sleeping better.
It won't tell you that you're no longer exhausted halfway through the day.
It won't tell you that you're walking farther, climbing stairs with ease, or playing with your children without needing to sit down after a few minutes.
It won't tell you that you've started choosing healthier meals without feeling like you're forcing yourself.
Those victories matter.
In fact, they matter more than most people realize.
At Fitness Space, we encourage our members to celebrate **every sign of progress**, not just kilograms lost.
Because when you notice the small wins, you're more likely to keep going.
And when you keep going, the bigger results eventually come.
Real transformation isn't built in one dramatic moment.
It's built in the quiet decisions you make every day.
The extra glass of water.
The evening walk.
The balanced meal.
The decision to get back on track after one unhealthy meal instead of giving up completely.
Those are the habits that change lives.
❤️ **Now, I'd love to hear from you.**
What's one victory you've experienced recently that had nothing to do with the number on the scale?
Maybe you have more energy.
Maybe your clothes fit better.
Maybe you've become more active.
Maybe you're making healthier choices than you were a month ago.
Share your win in the comments.
Let's remind each other that progress is bigger than a number.
If you're ready to build healthy habits with a community that celebrates every step of your journey, we'd love to welcome you to **Fitness Space**.
**Small habits. Big results. One day at a time.**
Most diets don’t fail because people are weak. They fail because they were never built for real life.
Let’s do a little experiment.
Think about the last diet you tried.
Did it tell you to cut out your favourite foods?
Did it expect you to eat differently from everyone else at family gatherings?
Did it make you feel guilty every time you had a “cheat meal”?
If you answered yes, then maybe the problem wasn’t you.
Maybe the problem was the diet.
Here’s something I’ve noticed after working with people on their weight-loss journeys.
The people who struggle the most aren’t usually the ones who lack discipline.
They’re the ones trying to follow rules that don’t fit their lives.
They start with enthusiasm.
Then reality shows up.
A long day at work.
A wedding.
A birthday party.
Traffic.
A business trip.
Children to look after.
Before they know it, they’ve broken one rule.
Then another.
Then they convince themselves they’ve failed.
But here’s the truth…
Your body doesn’t care that you ate one slice of cake at a birthday party.
Your body cares about what you do consistently over weeks and months.
That’s the difference between a diet and a lifestyle.
A diet says,
“You’re only successful if you’re perfect.”
A healthy lifestyle says,
“One choice doesn’t define you. Make the next one a better one.”
That’s why at Fitness Space, we don’t coach people to survive on unrealistic meal plans.
We teach them how to build habits they can maintain whether they’re at home, at work, travelling, or celebrating with family.
Because the best weight-loss plan isn’t the fastest one.
It’s the one you can still follow six months from now.
Now, let’s have an honest conversation.
What’s the hardest part about sticking to a healthy eating plan?
• Finding healthy foods?
• Controlling portions?
• Cravings?
• Staying consistent?
• Something else?
Share your answer in the comments. I’d love to hear your experience, and your story might encourage someone else who feels they’re struggling alone.
If you’re ready to stop chasing quick fixes and start building a lifestyle that works, Fitness Space is here to help.
Your healthiest life won’t be built in a weekend. It’ll be built by the choices you repeat every day.
🤔 This meal scored 20/25. Would you have scored it higher or lower?
Take a good look at this plate before reading on.
One of our Fitness Space App users logged this meal, and Bibi gave it a score of 20/25.
Here’s the breakdown:
✅ Carbohydrates – 5/5
✅ Vegetables – 5/5
⚠️ Protein – 5/15
Now, here’s where many people get it wrong…
Most people see spaghetti and immediately say,
“That’s too much carbohydrate.”
But Bibi didn’t have a problem with the spaghetti.
In fact, it got full marks.
The vegetables?
Also full marks.
The only area that needed improvement was the protein.
Although there are two boiled eggs on the plate, the amount of protein wasn’t enough to balance the quantity of spaghetti being eaten.
This is why many people struggle with healthy eating.
They spend so much time asking,
“What should I stop eating?”
Instead of asking,
“How can I make this meal more balanced?”
Healthy eating isn’t about cutting out your favourite Nigerian foods.
It’s about learning how to build a plate that works for your body.
Sometimes, the difference between a good meal and a great one is just one small adjustment.
That’s exactly why we created Bibi.
Not to criticize your meals.
Not to tell you never to eat spaghetti again.
But to help you understand your plate and make healthier choices—one meal at a time.
Now it’s your turn…
👇 If you were Bibi, what score would you have given this meal before seeing the answer?
And tell me one thing you would add or change to make this meal even better.
Let’s see who gets closest to Bibi’s rating.
If you’d like Bibi to rate your meals too, download the Fitness Space App and start making smarter food choices with every plate.
If you’ve restarted your weight loss journey more than 5 times this year, keep reading.
It wasn’t because you lacked motivation.
It wasn’t because you didn’t know what to eat.
It wasn’t because you were lazy.
So why did you stop?
Here’s how it usually happens…
You wake up on Monday feeling unstoppable.
You drink more water.
You skip the sugary drinks.
You prepare healthy meals.
You even squeeze in a workout.
Then Wednesday arrives.
Work gets hectic.
The children need your attention.
Someone brings snacks to the office.
You’re too tired to exercise.
You tell yourself,
“I’ve already messed up.”
Then one unhealthy meal becomes one unhealthy day.
One unhealthy day becomes one unhealthy week.
Before you know it, you’re waiting for another Monday.
The truth is, your biggest enemy isn’t food.
It’s the belief that one mistake means you’ve failed.
Read that again.
One slice of cake doesn’t ruin your progress.
One missed workout doesn’t erase your effort.
One weekend of overeating doesn’t cancel the healthy choices you’ve already made.
The people who achieve lasting weight loss aren’t the ones who never make mistakes.
They’re the ones who refuse to let one mistake become an excuse to quit.
So today, don’t promise yourself you’ll start again next Monday.
Start with your next meal.
Take a 20-minute walk this evening.
Drink another glass of water.
Make one healthy decision.
Then another.
That’s how lasting transformation happens.
💬 Now I want to hear from you.
What’s the number one reason you’ve had to restart your weight loss journey?
Be honest.
Your answer might encourage someone else who’s silently struggling.
If you’re ready to stop starting over and finally build healthy habits with support and accountability, send me a message. At Fitness Space, we help you lose weight in a way you can actually maintain.
