The SID Team had an amazing time at EMERGE, hosted by The Beautiful Network at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), where the team engaged with students and young people on the endless opportunities available within Anambraโ€™s growing innovation ecosystem.

From introducing the One Million Anambra Digital Tribe (1MADT) initiative to highlighting the many free digital skills, startup, innovation, and entrepreneurship opportunities being provided by the Anambra State Government through SID, it was a powerful conversation about preparing young people for the future of work.

The energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm from the students reminded us why weโ€™re committed to building a digitally empowered generation equipped with the skills to compete globally.

The future belongs to those who are ready, and at SID, weโ€™re ensuring Anambraโ€™s youth are not left behind.

At the Stanbic IBTC Nigeria Business Summit โ€“ Regional Tour, Onitsha Edition, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation and Business Incubation and Chief Executive Officer of the Solution Innovation District (SID), Ms. Chinwe Okoli, joined the Honourable Commissioner for Commerce, Hon. Nonso Chukwuma Ebonwu, Chairman of the Anambra State Internal Revenue Service (AiRS), Mr. Nnaemeka Ikeazor, and Vice President of the Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME), Mr. Chinemerem Oguegbe, in engaging with MSMEs on strategies for accelerating enterprise growth and strengthening Anambra's business ecosystem.

She joined policymakers, business leaders, and entrepreneurs on a panel to discuss the topic "Accelerating Enterprise Growth Through Public-Private Collaboration."

In her contribution, she highlighted how technology, innovation, and strategic deployment of digital tools are reshaping the way businesses grow, compete, generate revenue, create jobs and create value. She encouraged MSMEs to move beyond traditional business models by integrating digital tools into their operations, leveraging artificial intelligence and automation where applicable, embracing digital marketing, and using compelling content to build trust, increase visibility, and access new markets.

Ms. Okoli also spotlighted the wide range of opportunities available to entrepreneurs through the Solution Innovation District (SID), the Anambra State Small Business Agency (ASBA), and the Ministry of Commerce, all of which are working collaboratively under the visionary leadership of Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, to build a thriving enterprise ecosystem in Anambra State.

She noted that the businesses that will define the future are those that continuously learn, embrace innovation, adopt technology, and position themselves to compete in an increasingly digital economy.

At SID, we remain committed to building an innovation ecosystem where entrepreneurs and MSMEs have access to digital skills, startup support, business incubation, strategic partnerships, and emerging technologies that enable them to innovate, scale, and create sustainable economic value.

In Anambra, we are building a future where innovation powers enterprise, collaboration accelerates growth, and businesses compete favourably on the national and global stage.

Some leaders build roads.
Some build institutions.
A few build people.
You chose to build the future.

Through the Solution Innovation District, what was once a bold vision has become a movement. Thousands of young people who once looked outward for opportunities are now creating them from Anambra.
From 1 Million Anambra Digital Tribe (1MADT) to Code Anambra, Tech Meet-ups, Robotics Training, ISP Academy, Hub Acceleration Programmes, startup incubation, and countless digital skills initiatives, you have proven that the greatest investment any government can make is in its people.
Today, Anambra is not just producing graduates; it is producing innovators, software developers, robotics engineers, digital creators, founders, and problem-solvers who can compete anywhere in the world.
You dared to imagine an African Dubaiโ€“Taiwan Silicon Valley, and every young person empowered through SID is another brick laid in that vision.

As you celebrate another year, we honour not only your age but your audacity to think beyond today. Thank you for believing that innovation is governance, technology is opportunity, and our youth are Anambra's greatest asset.
May your new year bring even greater wisdom, renewed strength, and the grace to continue shaping a future where every Anambra son and daughter can dream, build, and thrive.

Happy Birthday, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR.
Happy Birthday to our Digital Governor.
Happy Birthday, Oluatuegwu.
