On the pitch, we compete with passion, determination and the desire to win,but once the final whistle goes, football reminds us of its most beautiful message friendship, unity and respect.
After today’s friendly match in Akure, players from both teams came together to pray, exchange pleasantries and share memorable moments through pictures.
Many of these players are good friends off the pitch, and for 90 minutes, they simply put friendship aside to compete for their respective colours.
Rivals for 90 minutes, brothers beyond the game.
This is the beautiful side of football — bringing people together, creating friendships and building bridges beyond the result.

It was a solid test for the team as Coach Jacob Vandi continued to assess his players, build team chemistry and fine-tune preparations ahead of the new season.
No goals, but plenty of positives to take home. 💪⚽
