The idea of religion itself is not necessarily the problem. If religion is understood as a way people understand and relate to what they consider sacred or ultimate, then religion can provide meaning, community, and moral guidance.

However, the problem arises when certain religious teachings or practices encourage unquestioning acceptance of beliefs, values, and moral claims, especially when they discourage critical thinking.

For example:
- Believing that without God, a person is nothing and has no existence.
- Believing that God alone will save people from poverty, insecurity, and bad governance, hence the saying “Na God go help us for this country.”

Religion also slow certain forms of change when it conflicts with scientific findings, pluralism, or social reform like (Education reforms, marriage reforms, woman’s rights and gender equality)

Certain religious ideas, interpretations, or social effects may contribute to problems when they discourage critical thinking, personal agency, or civic responsibility and this is the main problem of religion to Nigeria when coupled with bad governance and tribalism.

Which one me I miss?

FACTS:

Tinubu cannot win Obi in the forthcoming election if the election is free and fair.

Obi is going to clear the votes of the East.

Even in north right now OK will get more votes that Atiku and Ameachi.

Even with Ameachi, Atiku can’t win Obi in the south.

Nigerians are anticipating the election to be rigged and are prepared.

If anybody other than Peter obi becomes the next president then Nigerians know that the election has been rigged. but of course it may seem biased when people say this even though it is the truth.
Many people registered for PVC 2023 because of peter obi and even more are registering now not only to vote out Tinubu but more importantly to vote in Peter obi in 2027.
You might have your opinion but Theres what is called political mapping and Mr. Obi is the only person that can and will displace Tinubu and you can see their effort to make the election noncredible.

THE MAIN AIM OF THIS POST is to encourage Nigerians to be ready, it’s going to be a win win. Its either Inec announce the candidate the mass has voted or there will be a revolution.
It’s a win win but Nigerians must be ready to work and fight. We will protect our vote and if that’s not enough we will scatter this Nigeria and built it again.

While the statement is half true half correct, sometimes I imagine this current Nigerian youth without social media.
I imagine the awareness, the seriousness, the sharp and intense actions we would take against this bad government.
But generations before us had no social media which makes me wonder if social media is really a distraction cause these people allowed this bad government without the so called distraction: oh this people really failed us 🤦🏿
But we must end this circle of irresponsible and gullible citizens who continue to allow bad leader rule over us, who continue to allow different things distract us, social media is only a distraction if you allow it.
While we can utilize the media and post against bad government and corruption the real changing activities happen only on the streets like voting, protesting and revoluting.
