But weakness is not the end of your story. It is the place where God’s grace flows most freely. He does not love you less in your frailty. He loves you right there and promises that His strength is enough. Yes His grace is sufficient for you.

Elijah in 1 Kings 19, collapsing under a broom tree after his great victory over the prophets of Baal. He was so discouraged and weary that he prayed to die. But God did not scold him for being weak. Instead, He gave Elijah food, water, and sleep. Then He spoke to him in a gentle whisper. That picture is a reminder that God meets the weary with compassion, not condemnation.
