BTFC Taekwondo Club

Almost 50 BTFC members took part in the 3rd HANA Open Taekwondo Championships competing in Poomsae, Kyorugi and Virtual Taekwondo.

It was a hot weekend but our athletes pulled through winning 18 Gold 🥇 medals as well as achieving Overall Poomsae Champions 🏆.

Well done to the team and a big thats you too all the parents.

20 BTFC members represented Taekwondo Kuala Lumpur at the 15th TM-KBS-MILO National Junior Taekwondo Championships in Nilai. Many new athletes moving up to the state roster for the first time. BTFC members contributed 1 bronze medal for TKL.
It was a great learning experience, more work to be done!.

36 BTFC athletes took part in the 13th Speed Power International Taekwondo Open Championships in Kuala Lumpur.

The team brought back a total of 17🥇, 7🥈and 20 🥉in both Poomsae and Kyorugi and was awarded Overall team poomsae champion 🏆..

Busy weekend as our teams took part in the Inter-Schools State championships for Kuala Limpur and Selangor (KTSSWPKL & KTSSNS)

18 members took part in the WP Kuala Lunpur championships held at Stadium Titiwangsa, bringing back 3 gold 🥇5 silver 🥈and 9 bronze 🥉while 5 made it into the top 5 just missing out on a podium finish.

23 members took part in the Selangor championships held at Politeknik Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, bringing home 2 gold 🥇 3 Silver 🥈 and 2 bronze 🥉 with 10 more qualifying into the finals.
