The IHH Sky Race™️ | Merdeka 118 has officially been launched, bringing together leaders, industry partners, elite athletes, media, and the tower running community for an exciting start to The World’s Biggest Tower Climb.

A key milestone of the event was the signing of a three-year partnership between IHH Healthcare Malaysia and The Sky Race, officiated by Jeffrey Ross, Race Director of The Sky Race, and Dr. Kamal Azman, CEO of IHH Healthcare Malaysia. This long-term collaboration reflects a shared commitment to promoting health, wellness, and active lifestyles through world-class sporting events.

The launch was graced by YB Tuan Chiew Choon Man, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC), whose presence underscores the importance of sports tourism and Malaysia’s growing position as a global destination for iconic sporting experiences.

We are also proud to announce Soh Wai Ching, Malaysia and World No. 1 tower runner, as the Official 2026 Ambassador of The IHH Sky Race™️ | Merdeka 118.
