JBI MERDEKA FIESTA 2026 - Teams Medal Presentation ⚽️ 🥇

We had a packed and exciting weekend of football as we hosted the Merdeka Cup Fiesta Tournament in collaboration with Educity Sports Complex.

The tournament brought together teams across multiple age categories with over 40 teams from U8 to U16, as well as senior teams. Every participating team received medals in recognition of their efforts, while champions and runners-up were presented with trophies and medals.

The event was filled with memorable moments—excellent goals, outstanding goalkeeper saves, determined tackles, and, above all, great sportsmanship both on and off the pitch.

We would like to sincerely thank every participating team for their support and commitment throughout the tournament. We also extend our appreciation to all the parents and supporters who attended in large numbers to cheer on their teams and create an incredible atmosphere.

A special thank you goes to our partner, Columbia Asia Hospital Tebrau, for providing complimentary healthcare support to participants, and to Educity Sports Complex for their valuable collaboration and support in making the event possible.

Our senior team extended their unbeaten run after an entertaining draw in last Sunday’s friendly match.

We started strongly, taking the lead early in the first half before doubling our advantage early in the second half. However, our opponents responded with determination, equalising through a penalty and a defensive error.

Every player gave their best effort, but on this occasion it was not enough to secure the victory. Credit to our opponents, who pressed relentlessly and continued to fight until the final whistle.

We would like to thank them for their excellent match arrangements, as well as our supporters for their continued encouragement throughout the game.
