Our practitioners are excited to begin training with these new bokuto, handcrafted to the specifications of Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto-ryu. Using the correct tools is essential for refining our technique and honoring the lineage of our practice.
Throwback to a focused session at the dojo!
Here’s a glimpse into our Kodachi training. Unlike the long sword, the Kodachi requires us to master ma-ai (distance) and use the opponent's momentum against them. It’s a challenging but rewarding part of our Katori Shinto-ryu practice.
