📢 ANNOUNCEMENT: WORLD THROWBALL TEAM RANKING

Asian Throwball Federation (ATF) are pleased to introduce the official World Throwball Team Ranking which will be based on cumulative points.

The implementation of this system is in line with the requirements by the Malaysian Registrar of Society, in which it issued the registration of the Asian Throwball Association (ATF) and The World Throwball Association (WTF).

The point system only starting from recognize ATF Championship from the year 2024 onwards.

This ranking framework has been established to ensure transparent, consistent, and fair evaluation of participating countries in officially recognized Throwball championship by Asian Throwball Federation (ATF).

🏆🏆🏆 RANKING: THROWBALL TEAM IN THE WORLD TILL 2026

as at February 2026

1st: India 🇮🇳 - 400 points

2nd: Malaysia 🇲🇾 - 350 points

3rd: Indonesia 🇮🇩 - 130 points

4th: Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 - 70 points

5th: Bangladesh 🇧🇩 - 60 points

6th: Thailand 🇹🇭 & Cambodia 🇰🇭 - 50 points

✳️ How the Ranking Works;

1. Points will be accumulated from officially recognized Throwball championship by Asian Throwball Federation (ATF) & WTF beginning in 2024:

2. Points given base on Throwball championship results:

1st place: 70 points
2nd place: 60 points
3rd place: 50 points
4th place: 40 points
5th place: 30 points
6th place: 20 points
7th place: 10 points

3. Each country's ranking will be determined by the total cumulative points earned through participation and performance in sanctioned events.

4. Rankings will be updated periodically to reflect the latest competition results.

🏐 ATF ASIAN THROWBALL CHAMPIONSHIP PHNOM PENH 2026 🏐

The ATF Asian Throwball Championship Phnom Penh 2026 was successfully held on 12 February 2026 at Castor Sports Gym, St. 1974, Sen Sok Area, near GGAS Campus 7, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

The tournament brought together talented throwball teams and dedicated officials from across Asia, showcasing outstanding sportsmanship, teamwork, and competitive spirit throughout the event. The championship served as a great platform to strengthen friendship and unity within the Asian throwball community.
