One small purchase has made a big difference for sea turtles 🐢

Florida's specialty sea turtle license plate has generated an estimated $8 million to $10 million for sea turtle conservation since it debuted in 1998. The funds help support research, habitat protection, nesting beach management, sea turtle rehabilitation and other conservation projects across the state.

More than 100,000 of the plates are now on Florida roads, with proceeds helping protect one of the world's most iconic marine animals. The funding has also supported equipment for wildlife rehabilitation centers and grants for dozens of sea turtle conservation projects.
