I didn’t write Living the Method because I thought women needed more information.
We have plenty of information.
We’re surrounded by people telling us what to eat, how to train, what to weigh, what our bodies should look like, how disciplined we should be, and which new set of rules will finally be the one that “works.”
I wrote it because I wanted to create something different.
Something that could help a woman understand what she’s doing and why she’s doing it.
Something that could help her become more curious about herself instead of constantly judging herself.
Something that could help her recognize that health, strength, nutrition and movement don’t have to be another place where she hands her decisions over to someone else.
Because I don’t believe the goal is to become really good at following someone else’s plan.
I believe the goal is to learn enough about yourself that you can participate in creating your own.
That’s what Living the Method is about.
It’s the framework behind so much of what I teach and how I coach — strength, nutrition, mindset, self-awareness, agency and learning how to make choices that work within your actual life.
And over the next few weeks, I’m going to share more of what’s inside it, why I wrote it, and what I hope it gives the women who read it.
Because Living the Method was never supposed to be something you simply read.
It’s something I want you to learn how to live.
