Northern Education Division - NED Sports

The Mzimba South Education Office today visited athletes in camp at Mzimba Secondary School ahead of the Malawi Youth Games Season 6 – National Finals.

The officials encouraged the athletes to remain disciplined, focused, and determined as they prepare to represent Mzimba South with pride. Their visit served as a great source of motivation and demonstrated the office's commitment to supporting school sports and youth development.

Today, the North East Education Division (NEED) Head Teachers paid a motivational visit to their student athletes in camp at Mzimba Secondary School as they intensify preparations for the Malawi Youth Games Season 6 National Finals, scheduled to take place in Lilongwe from 12th to 17th August 2026.

The visit was aimed at encouraging the athletes, appreciating the dedication of the coaches and team officials, and boosting the learners' morale as they prepare to proudly represent the Northern Education Division on the national stage.

NWED pulled together athletes from karonga, Rumphi and Chitipa for Malawi youth games season 6 divisional finals at chilumba secondary school on 25th July. All athletes arrived in a good time, most of headteachers from the division came to witness the talents. SDO and Malawi Sports Council were in attendance as wel. Games stated in a good time, athletes showed their talents and some were identified and selected for divisional team by experts in a given field. Sports categories were
