Today, we had the privilege of meeting the Acting High Commissioner of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to Malawi, His Excellency Ibrahim Miringa.

The Football Legends Association greatly appreciates the warm reception and the insightful discussions on strengthening sports diplomacy, youth empowerment, and fostering closer ties between Malawi and Nigeria through football.

Today, we had the privilege of meeting His Excellency Amararam Gujar, the High Commissioner of India to Malawi.

The engagement provided valuable insights on how the Football Legends Association (FLA) can collaborate with India in advancing sports development. We also explored broader opportunities for cooperation between Malawi and India in areas such as sports administration, youth development, capacity building, talent identification, and sports infrastructure.

We are encouraged by the High Commissioner’s commitment to fostering stronger ties between our two nations through sport and look forward to exploring mutually beneficial partnerships that will contribute to the growth of sports in Malawi.

The Board Chairperson of the Football Legends Association, in his capacity as Board Chairperson of the Malawi National Council of Sports, graced yesterday’s Be More Race as Guest of Honour.

In his remarks, he highlighted the importance of strong partnerships between the private sector and government in advancing sports development across Malawi. He emphasized that collaborative efforts are key to promoting diverse sporting disciplines, creating opportunities for athletes, and fostering a vibrant sporting culture throughout the country.

Creck Sporting Club has unveiled Flames legend Enerst Mtawali as their new coach replacing Elia Kananji.

Mtawali has signed a two-year contract.
